Starbucks — Restaurant in Chadds Ford Township

It's fast and it's right along the highway. Look, here's the bottom line. Is it expensive? Absolutely. Is it kinda trendy? Absolutely. Does it have a reputation? Yes. Does it live up to its rep? Considering Starbucks literally made a blonde roast, I think yes doesn't even begin to cover it. But the thing is, I don't care. It's along the highway so it isn't out of the way. And more importantly it's good. Does it get a bad rep for being that trendy coffee shop all the basic people go to to seem trendy and sophisticated? Yeah, it is. But if you let its trendiness prevent you from going, you're missing out. Starbucks makes good coffee, something I can't always say for coffee shop chains. Starbucks is fast, and even though it's can be expensive it's reliable. I trust a Starbucks cup of coffee more than I trust most other cups around here. Pretty tourist friendly and it's good quality. Plus, their in depth customization options make it super accessible to all different types of diets. Hot cocoa with almondmilk instead of regular? Why not? This store. We did drive-thru on Saturday 05/13/23. We ordered the first drink was iced matcha latte and the person confirmed it with the word “latte” then we moved on with the second drink. When pulled up to the window she was giving out iced green tea. We said this is not the one we ordered, it was matcha latte she argued back “you didn’t say latte “ and tried to make us to take that drink then said they were out of matcha powder. We were not happy with her customer service experience by arguing and changing the story of what we said so decided to go inside to give feedback. Another lady came (not sure which position she is because she didn’t mention), i was telling her what happened but she kept doing things with her computer then gave out a card and said “it’s 4 dollars thing”, second person also showed customer service experience is below average. We went to so many Starbucks stores and saw how they handled all that situations perfectly. This is the worst one. On my list not to go to anymore every weekend when i shop...

THE NICEST MOST PLEASANT DRIVE THRU EXPERIENCE EVER!!! So I drove thru today because it's my daughter's 12th birthday and all she wanted was a birthday cake pop and vanilla frappuccino. On the speaker we were met with Sam, the sweetest drive thru person we have ever encountered. After asking her if they did anything special for bdays, she suggested this cotton candy raspberry swirl drink that my daughter was SO excited to try. It was a hit and her new favorite. After leaving, my daughter saw that they wrote on her cup and cakepop wrapper some bday wishes. That short encounter and small gesture meant the world to my daughter and has left such an impact on me that I was compelled to write this review and I called the store to recognize this young lady, Sam.
