I went to dds’s discounts around 3-4 pm I picked some items and went to the checkout area. There was no one but me. Then one cashier lady came and entered to cashiers area but she didn’t serve me and she turned her back to me. There were only her and me. When another customer came she served him directly and ignored me. I said to her excuse me but I was here before you and him and you have cameras to see what happened. And all of sudden, one black girl was screaming in very loud and aggressive voice. Maybe she thinks we’re in prison! The reason You must start from the costumer’s spot to be served! Told her but I was there when no cashier or a customer there. I left the store and I was very disappointed. I came back evening to complain and I asked for the manager and the black girl she was the manager and she was much much more rude and aggressive and said to me get out of dds’s or I bring the police. I said okay that’s a good idea! Of course she didn’t call the police . She doesn’t want this to be recorded by the police! Maybe she thought I’m a criminal and I’ll run when I hear police word. I left the store very sad. I will complain to ROSS corporate and will follow up until she gets her punishment! I don’t think This is not acceptable in our...
Read moreI had a disappointing encounter with a store employee, an African woman whose role I didn't know (she could have been a manager or sales associate). I politely requested that the fitting room be opened for a few minutes so I could try on multiple clothes, but she responded in a rude and unprofessional manner. I was taken aback by her behavior, especially since I had asked so politely. If she is in a leadership role, I believe the store would benefit from additional training or support to ensure a positive customer experience. Even if the fitting room was closed, a simple apology and explanation would have been appreciated. Instead, her behavior led me to leave the items I intended to purchase and depart the store. I hope her supervisor or she herself reads my feedback and takes the opportunity to learn and grow from...

Dd's is a place that you either love or hate; it matches your personality or it doesn't. I wouldn't call it a treasure hunt place, as products here aren't high quality, but the bargains are considerable. For example, queen-sized bed quilts can be found for $20 or $25, and some of these are actually soft and stylistic, but the durability is...
