Alyce is a wonderful interior designer. She helped us remake our dream home, a 100-yr-old Spanish house that captured our hearts with its reminiscence but was really in need of a lot of repairs and rework. In her design she was conscious of respecting the house's history while modernizing the living spaces and the kitchen. The results are stunning - we loved things as big as the overall design (kitchen, dining room, living room...) and as small as a water pitcher in the kitchen she picked for us. Alyce is super responsive - we are busy professionals so are admittedly guilty of texting her outside of regular work hours - but no matter when you think of something, she is onto it. And we can't write a review for The True House without mentioning Michelle, who is the lady behind the scenes keeping an eye on everything to make sure they go as smoothly as possible, which had been a real challenge given the crazy supply chain issues during the COVID pandemic. She is the one who keeps an eye out for us on what arrives when and what needs a replacement. Michelle is absolutely mission critical to us completing our project. Alyce and her team at The True House are amazing at their craft. We remodeled the entire 1st floor which included the stairway, 3 bathrooms, living room, dining room, and the kitchen. Though the remodel was stressful and overwhelming, Alyce guided us through the whole process with her beautiful design, patience, and great communication. Not only is she a great designer, she was our therapist to handle the ups and downs of remodeling journey! Michelle, the office manager, made sure we were up to date on the arrival of all the pieces involved in the remodel. The end result is even better than the 3D rendering. From the cabinetry to every small decorative pieces, the design is cohesive, balanced and beautiful.
