Star Park — Attraction in Coronado

Not sure it's really all that cozy as the description says. Star Park Circle is absurdly busy, especially in the summer. Couple that with the fact that people don't understand how to use what is effectively a roundabout and you're dealing with a noisy trafficked mess.

There are some benches and a nice memorial to the various armed services, but for all intents and purposes this isn't much more than a median divide...

Located on the south side of the Island, and half way between the beach and Orange Ave is Star Park. This park is actually round, and has a roundabout around it. It’s a pretty park, with nice views. It’s also one of the few parks where dogs aren’t allowed. Consider this as a nice respite place from the traffic one block away from the crowds...
