Here are some of my personal favorites from MooTime Creamery:
Salted Caramel: A classic flavor with a salty twist. The caramel is rich and buttery, and the salt adds a perfect balance of sweetness and saltiness. Lavender Honey: A unique and refreshing flavor. The lavender is floral and aromatic, and the honey is sweet and soothing. Avocado: A creamy and delicious flavor. The avocado is ripe and flavorful, and it adds a richness to the ice cream. Cookie Dough: A classic favorite. The cookie dough is made with real chocolate chips and is baked fresh daily. Chocolate Chip Mint: A refreshing and minty flavor. The chocolate chips are rich and dark, and the mint is cool and crisp. Tips for Visiting MooTime Creamery:
The shop can get busy, especially on weekends and during the summer months. I recommend arriving early or during the off-season to avoid the crowds. If you are having trouble deciding on a flavor, ask the staff for a sample. They are always happy to help you find the perfect flavor. Don't forget to try one of MooTime Creamery's delicious waffle cones. They are the perfect complement to the ice cream. Read moreThis place is a little OVER hyped.
Theres ALWAYS a line for this place so I was really excited to try it.We got there at 8 and there was a sign taped to the door saying they were closing early at 9. The door was locked and a nice lady in line opened it for us. A man then pushed the door so it would stay in the open position. The girl came around the counter soooo fast to scold him I thought she flew! She said close the door because the had the AC going....it was 8 at night and 60 degrees out. I ordered a golden monkey. It has bananas and butter pecan Ice cream. I think the girl may have been new but she made the sundae with vanilla ice cream and no banana. There was a cheat sheet on the wall. She read the ingredients and then still made it wrong. I thought that was strange. The ice cream was so so, not amazing by any means. It wasn't super creamy or dense like a premium ice cream should be. The pecans tasted stale. Plus the sundae was all sorts of messy because to fix her banana mistake, the girl just jammed a couple all over it. It was spilling out all over the sides. Overall not a very...
Read moreWe enjoyed being able to visit our favorite local ice cream shop during COVID19 restrictions. The staff took great care keeping customers and themselves safe. Usually there's a wait and it's hard to get a table. We must have gone at a good time because there was no wait. There were also no tables available to eat at, but we'd planned to not eat there anyway so no big deal. It's a small place and social distancing isn't easy.
I bumped them down a star because they don't have ingredient lists available for customers to read if needed. Due to allergies, one in our party was only able to choose between the four flavors they had an ingredient list for, and 3 of those contained allergens. So that left one choice. At least there was that so she wasn't left out...
Oh, and parking is a bear. Be prepared to walk aways unless you get lucky.
