Came for a book and got a library card to check it out. Front desk librarians were very accommodating and friendly. And the lady at the reference section was super helpful and was so excited to find a book for me, it was sweet and I greatly appreciated her enthusiasm. The library was cute and had a cool Dr. Seuss exhibit (although I do have conflicting feelings about that man, but that's another discussion for another day). Overall a great experience and am excited to come again! Ooooo almost forgot the library card is sooooo cute, I love it!

Looks can be deceiving at the Coronado Public Library. It appears old and stately on the outside, but its high tech and very up to date on the inside. When you go through the entrance (BTW by the small food trailer) a whole new world of knowledge and entertainment opens up. The staff is super helpful and there are periodic fundraising book sales – keep an eye out.

One of the better libraries in San Diego. Spacious, ample seating for everyone and anyone to sit down and study, honestly worth the visit. Parking can be a challenge (especially on weekends) but again, an exceptional location to sit down, read, or study.

Everything is ok here except for the guy with the long ponytail that works at the area in front of the computers. He has starred at me before and has laughed at me and also, not the worst thing, he thinks he can talk really loud because the area her works in is not a quiet area, but if you are sitting in the computer lab behind him, which is a quiet area, you can here him from all the way over there, because it is not that far . And he walks through the lab, helping people on the computer, and talking really loud there as well. He has done this a couple of times now, telling me has to talk loud, because it is a deaf person her is talking to, but he has talked this way to multiple people here, staff and patrons and has laughed about it. I don't know what...

the writer's group here someone n 2008 wrote an enjoyable story i liked about horseradish farming in the county east of sd. i think more stories should be less human centric. understanding animals and plants. not all plants have to be trees only i like smaller animals. some people like microbes. same goes for other animals besides the favored dogs. i was going to farm in sd again then i moved again. the seeds we get from produce at the supermarket can be grown into edible plants. i want to experiment with medicinal plants on myself. hundreds of thousands of varieties why are only the regular stuff in the store? the library has some materials here too. it is a nice place to study. one day i typed out 30 quality pages...

This is what a perfect library should be. Spacious, well-stocked, generally quiet, plenty of work space, and relevant community activities. They have a large selection of books and movies. The children and teen sections are filled with great book choices as well as music, and both are well-suited to their respective age groups. The main section of the library has an impressive catalog and offers a quiet place to read or work. There are plenty of chairs for reading and tables/desktops with outlets for laptop work. The librarians are helpful and friendly. As a lover of libraries, this one is at the...
