Took my phone in for a screen repair and the person behind the counter went beyond insisting and argued with me repeatedly that I must give him password and pin number for my phone. Their corporate website even states he does not need that but preferred. After corporate got hold of him the next day he called and asked for my credit card number over the phone. No way. I'll swipe it later when I'm back in town. That person is extremely argumentative and rude. Kept correcting me on everything I said. I don't think I'm an idiot but he sure wanted me to think that. Attached is a photo of corporate website showing their response to them needing the pin number. Have a good day!

Today, A gentleman named Ray helped me with something more than just fixing the screen to my phone. He helped me preserve irreplaceable memories, he helped to save my 3.8 gpa because I don’t have a computer and I use my phone to do my schoolwork. He was kind and compassionate and cradled my old iPhone in his hand once I explained the importance of saving this device. I want to thank him and Batteries plus of Corvallis from the bottom of my heart.

I wish I never came here. I only gave them an additional star because they fixed one of their mistakes free of charge.

My iPhone is almost 2 years old so I thought I’d replace my battery since it didn’t last quite as long as it initially did. I went in and had a new battery within a couple hours. Later that evening I noticed there was a spot on, seemingly, my outward facing camera’s lens, and was showing up in my picures. The next day I went in and let them know what was going on. An employee with dark hair, glasses, and a medium build assured me it was just a speck of adhesive that would come off quickly. I came back a couple hours later and they let me know they could not remove the speck, and that they took the phone apart entirely to try and locate the problem, even replaced the screen of my phone, but to no avail. He also said that it didn’t actually make sense that replacing the battery would have caused a speck on the camera lens. He then made a statement that implied it could have been there already and that it wasn’t caused by the Batteries + Bulbs people. I offered to show him pictures taken earlier from the same day I brought the phone in to them and he kind of backtracked on the statement. He said they would order a new camera and replace it for free. They also let me know they were having trouble getting the phone back together, so they were going to take each piece apart again to try and get it back together the way it was supposed to be. I left again and came back a couple hours later. They let me know they’d call me when the replacement camera came in. I picked up my phone and took it home, only to immediately notice the screen response was very poor, sometimes taking 12+ times to respond to touch. In addition, the screen displayed a few random bright and dark spots.

A week later I received the call that the camera came in, we scheduled an appointment, and I brought the phone in the next day. I let the person helping me know about the screen issues I was having, and the person recognized that the screen was having some sensitivity issues. The same employee with dark hair, glasses, and a medium build approached us and took a look at my phone for a brief moment. He didn’t see the screen display inconsistencies in the brightly lit store, and walked away mumbling something about they can’t fix every miniscule problem my phone was having. This came across as quite rude to me, and I would have been open to discuss this issue, but he walked away and ignored me.

I picked up my phone later that day, the camera was replaced and seems to work fine, but I still am dealing with the screen issues that arose after they took my phone apart.

From my perspective I brought in a perfectly functioning phone, they messed it up, fixed some of the issues, and made me feel like I’m a pain in their butt. It looks like the store has generally good reviews, so I didn’t expect to experience this issue, and definitely didn’t expect to experience a rude employee, but I hope this...

I bought a car on Craigslist which, alas, came with only one key. Given my predilection towards losing literally everything I own at least once a week, it seemed prudent to make a copy ASAP. I went first to the weird key kiosk (key-osk?) at Rite Aid, only to discover that they charged $99 and would have to mail me the key. This seemed undesirable, as well as a little sketchy. I recalled that the Batteries Plus Bulbs had a sandwich board advertising their key-based services, so I decided to inquire there.

The helpful employees quoted me a cheaper price of $70 and got to work. Patrick was on the case. He discovered in the course of his investigations that the key I had been provided by Craigslist Car Guy was not, in fact, the master key, and therefore an extra key could not be programmed. Instead, he let me go home with the half-functional key (for free) and return a few days later so that he could perform the more involved arcane data ritual that would reprogram both keys. The process took only the time it took me to eat a sandwich next store at Starbucks. I was not charged any extra money for his very extra efforts.

I commend the most excellent service and encourage all to go here for...

I rarely post reviews but if someone else can benefit from my experience, I will make an exception. Right after I had my cracked screen replaced, I started having problems with my phone. I spoke with the manager who was dismissive and did not even acknowledge that either the screen was defective or the tech incompetent. He offered to put the cracked screen back on and give me a refund. It seemed to me that there was a chance that it would damage the phone and an Apple tech agreed. When I suggested that I replace the screen and bring back the Batteries Plus screen and the protective cover (which had started to peel away), he resisted. I had to insist. When I brought the screen and the screen protector for a refund, the manager told me that the screen protector I returned was not what had been installed there and that I would only get a refund for the screen. It didn't make sense that the reputable phone repair company that replaced the Batteries Plus screen would give me someone else's protector. From beginning to end, this was a...
