Extremely disappointed in my experience here. If you look young, don’t bother. My husband and I are 25 and 26 and were age profiled the whole time. We had a reservation for 6:30, we ended up sitting in the waiting area for 30 minutes. I was expecting them to be very busy and have had a party stay longer than expected, but no. More than half the tables were empty, place settings in tact, and food runners looking for things to do. When we were finally sat, we waited another 30 minutes before our food order was finally taken. At this point we began looking for other places to eat, I mean with prices like these you’d think maybe the service would equate. The food, thankfully came out quite quickly. It was hot and well presented but it was bland. My husband got the New York sirloin and I got the lobster risotto. The risotto was devoid of any flavor and my husband said he’s had better steak from Texas Roadhouse. The two things I can appreciate is the bartender, who got us beverages the second we sat down and the chef, Barry, who did take the time to come out and meet the guests. However, for $250 the experience is not worth it. We were not rambunctious, loud, or drunk and I’ve worked in fine dining so I’m well aware of behavior expectations. My mom & grandmother both swear by this place but truthfully I wouldn’t eat here if it were the only option open. Save your time and money and go to Maggie’s...

We had a reservation for 8:30 PM at 980 Prime — a “fine dining” steakhouse that apparently starts shutting down well before closing. They had already 86’d three of their main dinner entrées by the time we sat down. My wife couldn’t even order what she wanted. That’s unacceptable, especially for a high-end restaurant with premium pricing.
The place was nearly empty, but the service was still slow and uninterested. Our server was friendly but had no clue about the menu — not her fault, but clearly a management failure. My ribeye was completely forgettable — zero seasoning, no sear, just a sad piece of overpriced meat. My Old Fashioned was barely drinkable — all bitters and sugar, no bourbon.
My wife gave up trying to order entrees because the last three entrees she requested were 86'd and just got a slice of cheesecake (which was good, to be fair), but I had to go to the Junkies sandwich shop inside the casino to get actual food. And honestly? That sandwich was probably better than anything 980 Prime had left to offer.
You’d be better off at Saltgrass — yes, the chain steakhouse down the road. At least the staff there is trained, and they don’t run out of half the menu before closing time. 980 Prime is all flash, no follow-through, and easily one of the most underwhelming meals I’ve ever had....
