A true gem in Cripple Creek! The cost of the tour is extremely reasonable and goes to the support of the nonprofit that maintains the historic site and the wonderful tour guides as well. They took the utmost care of the person in my group that had slight mobility issues and hearing impairment. It is obvious they love their work. I will do my best to take all my visitors through to enjoy this treasure and enjoy it myself several times over! We asked many questions and made a lot of conversation, and we spent about an hour there. If you just wanted to get the tour and go, it might be closer to 45 minutes. Definitely a cute stop worth my of a visit....
Read moreA wonderful slice of Colorado gold-rush history.
The museum is small, but since few visitors show up each guided tour is just one party. The guides are very knowledgeable. Lots of good stories about the house, the women who worked there, and the madams who ran it. Be sure to ask questions.
The house is furnished as it was in its turn of the century heyday, and most of the furnishings are original to the house.
Well worth the time and minimal...
