Update a month later:Update: A MUST when in Cripple Creek. The staff is so great, Bryan has excellent customer service. The kitchen staff outdid themselves again with the food. The steak I ordered was cooked to perfection and so full of flavor I didn't use the A1. The Brussels were simple, not complicated with 10 extra ingredients to "add flavor" I appreciate that you guys lightly season them and allow the flavor Of the Brussels sprouts to take center stage. The fries are, cut and made in house and delicious. They hit the spot for fries. Again impressed and highly recommend. Update a year later: and they are still delicious and worth the visit! My date got the chicken quesadilla which was not only delicious but I love how they put chilis in the quesadilla! I got the burrito and smothered it with the green chili. The green chili is fantastic! The burrito was loaded with rice, beans and hamburger, it's huge and delicious. It pairs well with the green chili. Definitely worth a visit especially to just grab a bite outside of a casino. Service was friendly and prompt. Highly recommend! First review: I was very surprised, yet so very pleasantly impressed with the food here. The menu hosts a variety of food options. We settled on sharing between 3 of us the; Garlic Cheese Curds, The Spinach Artichoke Dip and the Burrito. The Garlic Cheese Curds- were amazing, the marinara to dip them in seemed authentic, with chunks of tomato and a thick rich taste that only complimented the garlic cheese curds. My mom said as were finishing up our meal that she originally wasn't sure about "garlic" cheese curds and that she "really enjoyed them after all", and also mentioned how yummy the marinara sauce was. The Spinach Artichoke dip - was creamy and delicious, it paired well with the soft naan bread, carrots and celery that accompanies it. The Three Creek Burrito- we opted for the green chili on the side. The burrito was filled with rice, pinto beans, hamburger meat, onions and chilis and was massive. We cut it into thirds and it was a great finish to our meal here. THE PORK GREEN CHILI worth noting this was seemingly authentic and so very good, would recommend on its own or to smother anything. Had a small kick. Between the 2 appetizers and single entree we all left satisfied as it was plenty for us. We were highly impressed with the food, thus the kitchen/ cook(s). The food was incredible. Service was good, friendly, informative. Well worth the drive from the Springs. Will definitely be back as I want to try soooo many other things on their menu! (Side note, we originally went to eat at Baja Billy's but they are closed on certain days. You will find this a superb alternative if you find yourself in the predicament that we did or just want to try a new place with fantastic food.) (Pic side note, I wasn't going to do a review until the deliciousness of the food inspired me to, so my apologies on the half eaten pics... we all ought to know by now, pics are not my strong suit...yet? )

Disappointed in the quality of the food. I got a pulled pork sandwich with fries - the sandwich was OK at best but the fries were inedible - soggy and had a faint burnt taste. Items my companions ordered were similarly mediocre. The people were nice enough, would just avoid due to the mediocre food at around $20 per person for a meal and drink UPDATE - we returned recently to give it another try. Sad to say nothing has improved or changed at all. Well this time the service was worse, the hostess just had to take a break to vape out front with her friends before seating us (at a table sitting empty prior to her departing for her vape session). Especially as we had young children this wasn't appreciated. I really don't know how this place has positive reviews, the food is just not good. This time around we got the green chili Mac and cheese which was ok, the patty melt which was soggy and flavorless with dry meat, the baked beans which seemed to just be canned from a grocery store and the potato salad - boy that was a mistake, it was inedible, clearly frozen and thawed multiple times. We did mention (as last time) to our server that our meal was subpar and she just smiled and said she would grab the check. From all appearances the menu is the same as it was a year ago, as are the fries. We didn't even bother to push the point further as the issues are clearly systemic, not just that any individual dish wasn't prepared correctly. We stopped by a fast food place on the way home to get a bit more sustenance and the quality was FAR better than this place (which is saying something as we don't love or frequent fast food). AVOID, WILL NOT RETURN

My husband and I were sat in the upstairs portion at about 6:00pm on 12/30. The first thing I noticed was the priced were quite high, but we were hungry so we kept with it. However, when there is almost $40 entrees on the menu, using plastics utensils feels ridiculous . While we had no complaints on our food, others around us did. A very kind family had a chili that came out cold, after reheating it came out cold again as well as one of the children’s food was cold. When the manager came up (women in a plaid shirt Mickey Nicky maybe??) she said “well ya it’s cold, you’ve been up here awhile” The family defended themselves and the manager continued to say the food did not come out cold. The family decided they wanted to leave and their meal was comped. At this time another frustrated family with the stepped in and said they felt they were a bother to the manager and the experience they were having. The manager made excuses and they got into a bickering spat with one of the men in the party This family chose to leave after also having to request Triple Sec in their margarita (a traditional part of the drink) Lastly, attached is a photo of the chair I was sat in. Even after multiple tables making comments about how unsafe the chair was, a new chair was not given.

We had a truly amazing experience at The Creek this Labor Day weekend. We were looking for a great place to eat that we could take kids to. The people at the Molly Kathleen Gold Mine suggested that this was the place to go for great burgers that all our kids would love. We got to this restaurant about dinner time and it was packed with long wait lines. The restaurant manager, Chris, saw our plight and knew we had hungry kids. Before we left to find another place she came outside and grabbed me to let us know that even though the restaurant was full she would make other accommodations for us. A few minutes later she came back and led our entire group to a private upstairs dining room. This was perfect for our large group as we were able to talk and enjoy our meals without any distractions. I am still so grateful! The service we received was exceptional and the food did not disappoint. The burgers were amazing and very tasty. The kids had never had Buffalo burgers and absolutely loved them. The appetizers were a hit with everyone and were a perfect lead-in to our delicious meals. We enjoyed several wonderful hours together reflecting on our fun day in the Cripple Creek area while enjoying great food along with very friendly and attentive service. Our kids all enjoyed the food and can't wait for a return trip. After such an amazing and delectable experience I just wanted to publicly thank Chris and the entire staff of The Creek for making a memorable experience that I know our kids and other family members will fondly remember for many years to come. It was the perfect ending to a...
