Like most casinos in Cripple Creek this establishment is aged and a bit run down. The atmosphere is cold and the decor is in desperate need of an update. It amounts to three small casinos being connected on three separate levels. The casino makes no sense at all and I prefer to stand on carpet when I gamble for a long period. The casino has that old saloon feel and not that well thought out. For being in such a cold environment the place just doesnt seem that warm. They have some nice machines and good drinks but I am just not comfortable playing there. Attitude is everything when gambling and I have a real problem getting in the mood here. With the table games closed in Colorado due to Covid when you walk in its almost like a ghost town on the top level. The shuttle bus service, Rambling, to Cripple Creek is tied into this casino. The shuttle service is OK and from the Springs a round trip is 35 bucks or so. The casino give you that in free play back but what I did not like was having to spin 500 bucks in play before I could get that credit. The old lost leader trick. Not cool in my book because they weren't up front about those requirements. If they are underhanded about that, what else are they not up front about. You might find this a good place to play, I don't know, but for me this casino just misses the mark and the only thing that can pull me in there to spend a little cash is their free play offers. If they give me an incentive to play there i don't mind spending a few hundred of my own cash as...

The Brass Ass Casino offers a fun blend of old-school charm and modern gaming in the heart of historic Cripple Creek. It’s one of the more iconic spots in town, and you can really feel the vintage Western vibe the moment you walk in—right down to the antique décor and the big brass donkey statue.
The slot selection is solid, especially if you like nickel and penny machines, and there’s a pretty wide range of denominations. Table games like blackjack and roulette are available too, though the experience can vary depending on the dealer. Most staff are friendly and helpful, and the service at the bar and food counter is quick and easy.
It’s also one of the cleaner, smoke-free casinos in Cripple Creek, which makes the atmosphere more comfortable than some of the others. There’s no hotel connected directly to it, but it’s part of the Triple Crown group, so lodging is close by at Midnight Rose or McGill’s.
All in all, a good spot if you’re looking for a laid-back casino with character and decent odds. Worth a stop if you’re exploring...
Read moreIf you are going to play on tables. This place sucks. There dealers are so dry. Don't laugh don't make a joke. Hannah and Damien I think was his name. We tried to joke or say hey can you give me a 6 he says I don't know what it is. He must not been doing it long. Told Hannah hey I need a small one. She said we'll you get what you get. Like ruined the experience. We played about 200 not a gun environment. When I asked about the table rules they just stared at me. There was one guy I didn't get his name he was there at the beginning for about 30 min. He was funny explained what the silver and bust 22 was and even was funny. Need more people like him. The slots were decent and the environment was clean. Bathrooms were clean and smelled good even. Not good service at the machines to get a drink. Was there quite some time and just before leaving I seen someone. At the black jack take for the little time I was there the asian lady did come by a few times. Smiling and happy asking for drink orders. Cute St. Patty's day green and stickers on her face. Very pretty and...
