5/12/22: As promised an update on this fantastic establishment. Have you tried the lunch here yet? Well I did and I took more pics for all of you that are curious. The lunch is just as good. And the infused lemonades are definitely a must try . Steak and Sharp Cheddar Panini was great. flavor and quality was perfect. I do wish it was a little bigger but I'm a big guy and so that's a common thing for me to not get completely full. The Toasted chipotle Chicken quesadilla, was definitely thick and hefty. I didn't get to try it but am looking forward to doing so. as my buddy said it was amazing and loved the homemade salsa that went with it. Fortune Club. Was definitely beautiful I only got a bite of it but that one bite was stellar. Pictures of all the food I've tried here.
ATTENTION EVERYONE: Are you looking for amazing breakfast and tired of being let down by subpar greasy food thats over priced in our area. Then look no further!!!!!! We had the chorizo breakfast burrito and the sausage breakfast burrito. Cooked beautifully, bursting with flavor , reasonably priced , not greasy at all. As someone who loves food and has a culinary back ground. Im so happy to find somewhere that actually cares about the food quality. I had the regular drip coffee and even that has a very beautiful flavor to it. She had the huckleberry white chocolate mocha and loved it as well.
If you want breakfast you better stop by and try this amazing place. Cant wait to come in for lunch. More pictures , videos and reviews to come from me. Excited to be excited to...
Read moreIt’s so great to see a younger generation of business entrepreneurs coming into the city and bring with them a more modern and current offering. Gold Camp is one of those local small town coffee shops and eateries you want to frequent! They have a modern atmosphere and vibe while still paying homage to the history and legacy of Cripple Creek. The coffee is what brought me here but it was the food that kept me here! I had a breakfast burrito stuffed with chorizo. The outer wrap was crunchy and bit heavy in a flour tortilla and it had a good amount of hash brown potatoes in it as well. Both of which I can’t process well, but for the regular patrons, this would be a hearty and warm and delicious combination all wrapped up in a massive breakfast burrito! I will say it was delicious! I’m a spicy fan so the peppers and chorizo have a good amount of “donkey kick” without having to add hot sauce. My wife had a coffee and pastry; warmed raspberry danish with a white mocha coffee. Let’s just say I’m in a good place with my wife! 🥰👊. I had a cold shaken espresso. They knocked it out of the park. The syrups are premium and you can tell the coffee is fresh and prepared for you versus sitting in a carafe! Definitely THE breakfast spot for Cripple Creek. Thank you Gold Camp for a great experience and...
Read moreI live in Las Vegas, NV. But my parents live in Florissant, CO, about 20-30m from Cripple Creek. Every single time we visit, which is often, we go to gold camp at least once. I absolutely LOVE this coffee shop! It's probably my favorite out of anywhere I've been. The atmosphere is so warm and inviting, and clean. Prices are decent. All the staff is so friendly. All the food items we've tried have been absolutely DELICIOUS. And the coffee is my favorite, for sure. I wish I could have it ALL the time! Their lemonade is really tasty, too!!
I finally bought a bag of their beans to bring home and I'm drinking them right now lol. Not as good but close enough for when I can't be there. If you're anywhere near Cripple Creek, you just HAVE to make a stop at Gold Camp Cafe.
I think the only negative I have about this place is the amount of salad you get when you order a sandwich. It's always like 5 or 6 pieces of lettuce and that's it 😂
I, highly, suggest their shop and food at The Mercantile, too. It's right next door to gold camp
I was in town last week and noticed they're putting in another business a few shops down. Looks to be like a lounge of some sort? I'm so very excited...
