I made an appointment with Allison at 2:00. She has done my nails several times in the last three months. When I walked in at 2 she was still with another customer. Not a big deal. She asks me how she can help me. (acts like she’s never seen me before!) I told her I had an appointment with her! She tells me to have a seat.(three feet away) Doesn’t tell me she’s almost done or that she’s running behind, NOTHING! I’m thinking maybe she’s almost done. At 2:15 again I’m thinking she’s almost done! I begin to realize that she’s nowhere close to being done! Still not a word from Allison! At 2:25 I got up and walked out the door! My car was right up front facing the salon. No one comes out, no one calls! I drive off! At this point I was livid! I call the salon and Allison answers(laughing), “Hey Lauren, what are you doing?” Seriously? No apology, NOTHING! The disrespect she showed me was unbelievable! By the way, the woman that was there when I first walked in was the only customer there and was the only customer when I left! They are never busy! You would think Allison would treat people with more respect since they obviously are in need of business, but if she treats people like she treated me I can see why there’s no one ever there! She’s not that great at doing nails, either and I was actually planning on finding another salon, which I did that same day! My nails look better than ever and their salon was packed! Everyone was extremely nice and accommodating! I almost want to thank Allison! She actually did me a favor! To everyone out there: Do not let people treat you like Allison treated me! Do not give your hard earned money to a person or business that has no consideration for you and thinks it’s ok that your time was completely wasted! There are tons of other nail...
Read moreI had a bad experience here and would not recommend. I got a builder gel set less than 2 weeks ago and already had one nail break plus several lifting at the cuticle. The builder gel was applied too thick and uneven, but I let that go at the time b/c I didn't notice at first.
When I went back today and pointed out the lifting, the tech was dismissive and told me that was “normal depending on what I do” — but I just sit at a desk all day and regardless lifting at the cuticle and around the nail after 2 weeks is NOT normal. Instead of showing concern or offering to fix their poor work, they told me it would be full price for a refill plus $5 to fix the broken nail. No discount, no apology, nothing. ALSO, I had asked about the new customer 20% off when I first came here and after paying realized they didn’t apply it. When I asked, they brushed me off and handed me two $5 coupons instead not near the 20% off I would have had for the 150.00 I spent there.
I walked out because there was no way I was giving them more of my money. I went to a new salon, and even they commented on how poorly my nails were done here — then proceeded to do an extra great job fixing them. Save your money and go...
Read moreI really never leave negative reviews, but I was extremely disappointed in my service on Tuesday. It’s been 4 days and my hands are still cut up, I have multiple hang-nails, and all of my nails are uneven. My hands HURT from this service and I always get my nails done. This has never happened to me before. I was never told to wash my hands before service, the person doing my nails never washed hers, the tools used to cut and clean me were not sterilized (even with a bin that says it on the table), and now my hands are infected. When I started bleeding from the multiple cuts, she used her hands (not clean) to stop the blood. I asked to wash my own hands because I was nervous about my skin getting an infection. The service was cheap for the area, but you get what you pay for! There were signs posted in the salon stating if you give a 5 star review you will receive $5 off your service, so take the 5 star reviews with a...
