Held off on writing this one since the location opened in the past year or so. Been here a couple of times now (after officially opening) and once during the invitation based "soft opening". This could easily be a 4 or 5 star review, if but one thing... Attention to detail. Attentiveness and timeliness of the serving staff; Attention of the kitchen staff; Attention of the table clearing staff. Before we get started, a few notes on the food. The food as a whole is very good. The Texas Tonion is Longhorn's take on a Bloomin Onion. needs to be served with a different sauce or ranch! I'm not a fan of the way the onion is cut into wider blades (thicker pieces). The Brisket Queso is where it's at for the best appetizer here. The steaks are seasoned well and tasty! The redrock shrimp or grilled shrimp add-ons are seasoned well and taste great. The CFS is pretty good! The best side by far is the fried okra! This is okra strips, not discs. Needs to be served with ranch or a dipping sauce! The sauce on the crispy brussels sprouts is not good at all, and needs to be changed (and that's from someone that loves brussels sprouts). -- Nov 1, 2022 visit: Key word last night was Slow! We stopped in just before 5.30pm, raining outside, so not too busy. Hostess staff was fast, friendly and took our party to our table for 4. The benches had food on them from a previous party. The hostess watched as we wiped out the benches into the floor. Didn't offer to change to a clean table or for her to wipe it out for us. After seating, I am looking across the seating area at other booths and could visibly see food on other benches too. Definitely a miss on the table prep team! 9 min to get drinks (3 water with lemon, 1 unsweet tea). Informed the waitress that we were ready to order, said she'd be right back after checking another table. She walked away and was back in about 60sec. Not sure what diff that made, to just go ahead and get the order, but oh well. Then she took our order. 15min to have salads delivered. Kitchen team... Nobody likes lettuce core in their bowls!! Especially a 1in thick, 2x2in piece of core. Requested more bread. Immediate response was 5-7min because they were cooking more in the kitchen. (despite seeing other waiters bringing bread out to tables behind our waitress). Had to remind the waitress for the bread follow-up too. 18min for main course to arrive. Kitchen team, please pay attention. Medium Well order doesn't mean Medium Rare. Speed and attentiveness highlight of the night goes out to the food runner that brought the food to our table! Super nice and super fast service on the steak re-do. Super fast return on the additional ask for ranch to dip the fried okra in. During the little over an hour we were there, only 1 drink refill run. Bottom line, was it was super slow. Ticket time was 6.33pm. That could easily be explained by short staff, but watching other tables around us as the restaurant traffic built, they all appeared to be covering their tables with ease. -- Notes from Soft Opening Night. This was really strange. If you are doing a soft opening for training and experience purposes before opening the doors officially... you would figure there would be some form of feedback mechanism, survey card, survey form on an iPad, survey form link on a QR code handed out on a business card for people to give their feedback from home later... something. NOPE! If so, 100% of the issues that I spoke of above couple have been and still being addressed by the management of the location. Although we eat out a lot, it will likely be a while before we are back at Longhorn, having experienced similar issues at other Longhorn locations (Katy, Corpus...
Read moreWe chose LongHorn Steakhouse because of our AMX rewards gift card, and it was the perfect choice. From the moment we arrived, the experience was seamless. We got in right away, and I love that the parking is flexible. However, be advised that parking can be a nightmare around tax-free weekends or holiday weekends. On this particular night, the shopping mall was closed, so it was easier to find parking. I recommend going around 8:30 PM to avoid the crowd, as earlier times tend to be busier due to its location within the outlet mall. It’s a perfect place to shop and then dine, or dine and then walk it off by shopping.
That night, we had Flo’s Filet and the Queso Brisket. It just doesn’t get any better than that. Queso Brisket—like wow, who does that? Only in Texas! The best part of the meal was their warm, fresh wheat bread with soft butter. Unlike other places where the butter is rock hard, LongHorn’s butter is soft and delicious. They’re generous with the bread and always offer more.
Our server, Bryson (B-R-Y-S-O-N), was exceptional. He was hilarious, engaging, and made sure our order was correct, even ensuring our to-go order had all the necessary items. We ordered more food to go than what we ate in the restaurant, and Bryson ensured everything was cooked to perfection and packaged accordingly. I appreciated his promptness in getting refills and ensuring we received quality service. Despite the restaurant being a bit packed, Bryson gave every single table the unique attention they deserved.
Seriously, to every patron who goes to restaurants, be kind to your servers and workers. They’re human just like you. It’s disappointing to see people yelling and complaining—we all make mistakes. Show kindness so it can come back to you. Bryson was absolutely amazing, and I appreciate his attention. Our steaks were cooked to perfection, so thank you to the cooks as well.
This was simply a time for me to catch up with my sister, and it was a great night. Whether you’re looking for an affordable date night, a family get-together, or just catching up with an old friend, LongHorn Steakhouse is the place to go. Good food and quality service.
This review is happily endorsed by Lovely is Your Story for exceptional taste...

I can’t give an atmosphere rating since this was an online order, but let’s talk about everything else — because it was a disaster from start to finish.
First, my food was NOT ready when I arrived at my scheduled pickup time. Instead, I sat waiting another 20 minutes. To make things worse, when I got to the designated curbside spots, a truck was blocking both spaces. I had to park in my own makeshift spot and hope they’d still find me. Fifteen minutes went by with no food in sight, so I finally called the number at the bottom of my he curbside sign. A woman answered and casually told me that the person handling online orders had “already left for the night.” She said she’d bring my food out — which she did, but the damage was already done.
The food? Another letdown. The baked potato skin was crusted with giant salt chunks, making it way too salty, and it was cold. My T-bone steak was also cold — tender once I reheated it, but almost no flavor. My shrimp appetizer breading was soggy instead of crisp. And whoever thought it was a good idea to place my ice cream ON TOP of the hot food… congratulations, you served me a cup of warm, melted milk.
The drinks were just as bad — and overpriced. The mango lemonade tasted like unsweetened, vaguely flavored water (no real mango or lemon flavor), and the peach tea was so sweet it felt like drinking straight syrup. To top it off, the “large” drinks were basically child-size cups for $3.89 each.
I’ve spent a lot of money at LongHorn in the past and have had decent experiences, but this was one of the worst takeout orders I’ve ever had. The lack of communication, poor food handling, and “oh well” attitude toward customers is unacceptable. I’ll be speaking with the manager directly because this level of service is not worth a single star. (Not all food is...
