Oh Costco... I love your inexpensive treats. The creamy frozen yogurt, the super cheesy pizza, the best hot dog around that costs how much a hot dog should cost... (It's simple, it's cheap, it's perfect, wanna fight about it?) I do not love the cahrazy lines that build during any time that remotely resembles a meal time, though. The lines inside the warehouse are long enough, so standing in the food court line for another 15 minutes (especially when my cart is full of food I just bought to go home and make dinner with) is out of the question, no matter how tempting that mocha freeze or giant churro look. Thank you, though, for changing the line system to the single line. While the wait is still long during peak hours, it's a much better system than the individual lines. There was nothing more infuriating than standing in line and having people straddle two lines or watching all the other lines around you go faster than yours because you got stuck behind the one lady who decided to order 15 pizzas, 2 yogurts, 23 chicken bakes, and 45 hotdogs, and pay in spare change. So yeah... Single line...
ย ย ย Read moreI gave Costco food court four stars because they have a new way to pay. You pay on an island in the middle of the area. If you don't pay on the island, with your credit card, you stand in line for 10 minutes and get to the front and they say we'll, go pay. What do you mean go pay? Then you have to go back to the computer and pay! The first time, it's a learning curve. I didn't like that. Their food is pretty good though. I had a hot dog and a soda for two bucks or a buck 50. And I've tried their chicken bake. Those are good too. It's a good place to eat if you're in a hurry. And if you stop to pay with your credit card at the island, you'll probably be okay. Just watch out that you don't get in line...
ย ย ย Read moreFood and service was great. We had an entitled person who parked in a fire lane and partially blocking the exit door from the area where the food is prepared.
I observed an employee tell her she could not park there. This person ignored the employee and got in line at the food court. I was waiting 20 minutes for my food and the vehicle stayed there.
There was PLENY of open parking nearby. I wouldn't have bothered posting this if the person was elderly, disabled or had small children. No I won't mention she was fairly young and shall I say...
