BIRTHDAY MONTH=BIRTHDAY COUPONS=HAPPY RODNEY
Free burger coupon
Being how the former nearest Red Robin to me was located at the Los Cerritos Center, only later becoming P.F. Chang's, & having been to the next nearest location at the Lakewood Center, already, my daily exploits led me to Red Robin in Los Alamitos to redeem my free birthday month burger.
Wow! A lot nicer than those other spots. Walking in, I spied a Statue of Liberty next to 2 hamburger ottomans. That's a plus in my book! Being here for a quick lunch, I sat in the bar area, awaiting birthday burger redemption bliss.
Guacamole bacon burger, lettuce-wrapped- My usual go-to, the guac bacon burger still did not disappoint. Red Robin only cooks patties medium or well done. Medium still does have some pink, however. The fresh lettuce, tomato, onions and what not rounded out the ensemble. Not as much guacamole as I would prefer, being how I like a huge dollop of guacamole with, well, everything. But, enough was there to get the job done.
Sadly, the endless steak fries were the weakest link. They were oily, possibly because the fries were cooked at the wrong temperature, perhaps, & they lacked the crunchy exterior I oh so look forward to in a decent French fry. Nonetheless, the steak fries were endless & filling. Yours truly had to tap out after finishing a second round.
Service was good. The bartender was friendly, and when we made the mistake and forgot I wanted my burger to be lettuce-wrapped, he quickly corrected the error posthaste My soda water was refilled often, as I like to stay hydrated at all times, and my second helping of steak fries came out in a timely manner.
Ample seating all throughout the restaurant. Red Robin shares their parking with Costco.
Another one bites the dust! Birthday coupons always put a smile on my face, and Red Robin's the usual one I start the month off with. While the steak fries weren't the best, the free guacamole bacon burger was, once again, a delight. If I'm in the area again, I'd definitely show up again next year, ready to redeem my free burger.

Read moreSo it wasn't so much the food or the service It was surrounding area literally you're in a Costco parking lot which everyone knows Costco parking lots are always filled with cars and if you're a restaurant in the same parking lot will there goes your restaurant! So we had no place to find a parking the restaurant wasn't packed but the parking lot was at the Red Robin where you pick up your food That's where we parked our car like everyone else if you're eating at the restaurant, it was the parking area where you go to pick up your food so that was my most main complaint was the parking inside the restaurant it stunk like sewage I don't know if it was because of the food or what but as soon as you walked in at we were being seated it's smelt pretty bad in there! one more thing I need to point out the restroom was pretty gross to be honest It didn't look like anyone was keeping up the restrooms that was for sure and the floors were constantly wet in the restroom which my son slipped going to the sink so that's a hazard for sure luckily nothing really happened when he fell or I would own that restaurant and then I would have sold it so If you're shopping at Costco and are hungry for food that's your best bet if you're not going into the restroom but if you want to drive all over the parking lot then I would go somewhere else it's not worth it! And just so the restaurant management know I love Red Robin I normally go to the one in Brea so it's not so much...
Read moreWe love RR. This location our experience was gross enough we won't go back. A) The smell when we walked in was a mix of raw hamburger and sewage smell. B) The host tried to sit us at the bar-- there is sign that says 21 and over so we questioned as our two kids were with us. "Ignore that! That's only if you order a drink." We chose to not ignore and wait a few minutes; turns out the table they had was a large table so I expect they wanted to keep that open. C) We ordered the Royal Burger with an egg, a wrap, a Tavern Burger and a GF pizza. The Royal egg was undercooked (clear egg snot slick on the top), we asked about this and Brianna tried to tell us "that's just how those eggs are cooked." No, Brianna that's not how over easy is cooked. We got her to remake it with her telling us ok I will have them flip it and cook the top. Fine, just give us a cooked egg. The wrap and Tavern were both served with cold, old fries. They somehow tasted over done and raw at the same time. The GF pizza was charred around the edges and most of the bottom. Like scrape off black charred. We won't go back and recommend your going to a...
