I’m deeply disturbed by the behavior of one of the managers at this Primark location, Kevin. His conduct is completely unacceptable, especially in a customer-facing environment.
He speaks to employees in a condescending and mocking tone — I’ve personally witnessed him laughing in people’s faces when they ask how to grow or advance in the company. He uses extremely profane language loudly, right in front of shoppers, including children. This is not occasional slip-ups — it’s constant and jarring. It creates a hostile and uncomfortable atmosphere for both employees and customers.
Worse, he gossips loudly about staff in public earshot. I’m honestly shocked this behavior has gone unchecked. It reflects terribly on Primark as a brand.

I recently attempted to return an item I purchased but was unable to do so because I did not have the physical receipt. Even though I was within the return period and had proof of purchase through my card, I was told no return could be made without the receipt.
I find this policy very rigid and outdated, especially considering that many retailers now allow returns to be processed using a bank card, phone number, or even digital receipts. It is disappointing that Primark has no system in place to assist genuine customers in these situations.
