Do not move here. Months of chaos and wasted money. My second week I lived here the entire bike room got wiped out by thieves who came in through the open doors and stole every bike in there including my brand new ones. After I told the manager he came to the property and was laughing about it. No one in the building was notified and I never heard anything from them. The night before the bikes got stolen two guys were running around the building stealing packages. There was a homeless man jacking off in the courtyard for an hour, and was later seen doing it again in the garage even though the manager told us he handled it and the guy had been arrested. They didnât do anything about this and acted like they didnât care, as they do with anything like this that has happened. Naked people swimming in the pool Homeless lady bathing in the pool Homeless lady knocking on my door CONSTANT POWER OUTAGES that knock the WiFi out for a week, as of today 8/25 we have not had WiFi or a working gate for 5+ days and all they say is âwe are working on it.â I genuinely think they forget to pay their bills because this is an almost MONTHLY occurrence. YOU HAVE TO ASK FOR A PEEPHOLE TO BE INSTALLED EVEN THOUGH ITS AGAINST TEXAS PENAL CODE TO NOT HAVE ONE. They installed mine off center and messed up another tenants door installing it but never said anything to them about it. They advertise insight security but for the first few months I was here there was no security and now there is one guy who is assigned to 4 different buildings blocks away so itâs pointless. I have had 6 packages returned or stolen because there is no way for delivery people to get into the building, no call box no nothing. They will just leave your package outside because they canât get in. I had one package delivered to the leasing office and no one ever called to notify me. (UPDATE: they installed a call box but it does not work) Had no wifi for a month because they told me 3 different stories on how to get it. I get woken up by the pipes a few times a week because they are so loud, so do a few other tenants even though we were told they were fixing this. Bugs everywhere. There is already very few spaces to park (they put giant concrete pillars everywhere so it already makes half of the spaces impossible for me to park my truck in) and we just learned they are going to start charging us for parking! They have private parking available but itâs really just you sharing a tiny space with someone else and built a half wall anyone can just climb over and get to your car. Itâs a complete joke. You have to buy your own microwave because units donât come with one I was an apartment locator and have heard many stories of unpleasant leasing experiences but never heard of anything happening at the frequency it happens here especially from a building that charges this much. Doors are constantly left open and now there is only one entrance to the building, they put chains around one door and never notified anyone (fire and safety hazard) They do not communicate when the doors or gates will be unlocked. Coffee machine that is always empty that im pretty sure im being charged for in the $160 convenience package. Residents are exhausted
I am genuinely curious as to how this building was allowed to be open and tenants were allowed to move in with all of the stuff they are still trying to fix...
Read more(edited) October 2025 I bit the bullet and signed a lease. I want to start off saying that my leasing agent, Tommy, has been the best. But I have been here for 3 weeks and the move-in process has been lackluster. When I moved in, my packet wasn't ready, my wifi modem wasn't delivered till 2 days after I moved in, and my stove didn't work for about 3 days. The Butterfly system which lets visitors in the main door doesn't work. I mentioned this I know at least twice now. Still doesn't work. They advertise either 24 hour or after-hours security, I've never seen a security patrol. And now the WiFi is out. I called the office when I first noticed and I was supposed to get a call back, never did. No email or text communicating that the WiFi service will be out. As a whole, residents pay a pretty penny to live here and I don't think I am getting what I am paying for. I know no complex is without issues, Ive been renting for over 10 years, I am not new to this. But to live in a place that markets itself to be top dollar, I a not getting that treatment. Hopefully things will start to make a turn around.
August 2025 I toured Bishop North and Canopy today and I love Canopy. Good location. Nice apartments and amenities. Only CON from touring which isnât advertise till they get you to tour is thereâs a parking fee and convenience package. I donât understand complexes that charge residents to park at their place of residence especially if the garage is attached to the building. There is a promo going on but roughly youâll be paying $200/month extra on top of rent that isnât disclosed online. Also another CON, is that I gave my budget and I toured only one apartment in both places (Bishop North I'm not too upset cause thats not where I want to live) but the apartment I toured at Canopy was ~$2400, out of my budget and I was not taken to any other apartments and I don't know why. As a leasing agent, I would assume that you would take potential residents to multiple apartments within their budget. From online there 3 apartment sizes that are available. Now I was told that construction is still active (which on a live apartment complex doesn't seem safe). So I'm not sure if those were under construction. Canopy is still on my list but now just...

After eight months, I must warn prospective residents: while the property is visually attractive, the fundamental property development and design are critically flawed. Consistent operational failures make this a frustrating and low-quality living experience.
Infrastructure is completely unreliable. We experience frequent power outages (e.g., four times last Friday), which immediately knocks out building-wide Wi-Fi, a massive issue for remote workers. To compound this design oversight, the Amazon parcel lockers fail with every outage, requiring a call to the office for manual package retrieval.
The poor development standards are highly evident in the structural design. The flooring is flimsy (my unitâs subflooring has cracked twice), and acoustic separation is non-existent. Loud plumbing noises consistently disrupt sleep, and every footstep from the upstairs neighbors sounds like constant stomping. This severe noise transfer issue remains unresolved.
There is no porter, resulting in persistent dog waste around the building. Security access is poor: the app-reliant garage gates frequently fail, forcing street parking, and inaccessible side doors create extreme inconvenience.
The absence of an on-site leasing office contributes to dismissive management responses. We feel like the "out of sight, out of mind" property. The recent surge of five-star reviews since the new manager, Rebecca, took over seems highly suspicious, as this is demonstrably not a five-star property once you move in.
The property looks great, but functionally, it fails. I would not recommend...
