The Botanical Mix — Local services in Dallas

I was asked by a friend to stop by the market to check on some inventory of furniture for a home. I walked in with a badge from my old employer who was in decor, and no longer my employer. As I was walking I walked into Botanical Mix as I saw the creative work from outside the hallway. I stepped in and admired the work there but then the owner, I assume is Shane.: saw my badge and asked me to leave.. he began to rant about competitors. All I said was “what?” In a completely confused face and said “you truly have beautiful work” but he kept telling me to leave as I think he thought I was there to steal his ideas or something, which was never my intention at all. I even said to him “I’m not a florist” and he kept saying to leave and ranting.. I am no longer even in decor as I’m now in real estate and also help with designing homes. I even got the idea of being able to purchase for a home to be staged, but after that experience I will never return or even refer to them.

My point is, no one should ever be treated this way. In this world, in this state of Texas.. in alone DFW, there is business for everyone. The store does have talented work, but with an owner of that attitude and most of all jealousy of work being “stolen” .. is completely ridiculous and most of all sad. I’m assuming he was threatened by the company I used to work for or something, but never was my intention to “steal ideas” and never in my life have I been treated that way. I would myself never treat anyone that way as I am in sales my self and have been in it for years. Customer service...

You will pay for it, but it's still undervalued compared to celebrity floral designers that offer a similar scope. Their fresh is amazing. I ordered an arrangement for my grandmother's funeral. She was 98 and had a great life worth celebrating. Shane and his team delivered me the most beautiful arrangement I'd ever seen!
