I’M FINISHED SHOPPING WITH ZALES! Right after Christmas I purchased my wife a new ring from the Decatur, Alabama location. I sent the ring to be sized through the company and paid the fee. When the ring was ready for pickup, it was sized incorrectly. The store manager tried to get more money out of me to correct the problem. After refusing to pay more, I called the district manager and she fixed the issue at no additional cost to me but the store manager wouldn’t even speak to me or even look at me from that point on. I just went in the store today to finally get my ring, and the store manager canceled my order and refunded my money to a gift card. She said that I had waited too long to pick it up. I explained that I was just informed that the ring was here 5 days ago, and that I couldn’t just leave work. But the money I paid for the ring was sent back to a gift card once again. I will never shop with zales again. (I did finally get the situation resolved but it took a lot of time and frustration on my end. Waiting for a ring since Christmas, that’s already been paid for, is goofy and I feel like the store manager was just being both spiteful...
Read moreAwful customer service. My boyfriend and I went in on an early Saturday afternoon, 6/7/14. There were two women working and one other customer in the store. One of the women was helping the other customer but the older blonde lady was simply typing away at the computer. She greeted us hello and then went right back to typing. We stood in front of the counter on the other end for a good 10 minutes before we just walked out of the store. I tried to give her the benefit of the doubt that maybe she was busy typing up a customer order but an, "I'll be right with you in just a moment" would have been better than flat out ignoring us. There is a ring in the store that I have been eyeing for quite some time and my boyfriend was going to buy it for me today. Granted we are a fairly young couple, 22 and 21, but we were appropriately dressed and I cannot understand why we were simply flat out ignored. Read moreThis review is past due. On Christmas Eve I went to my local Zales to buy a last minute gift for my husband, a rope chain. I was greeted by Rebecca. She asked me what I was looking for and together we decided on the perfect chain. This chain was $1 under being able to qualify for a sale price. Rebecca asked me my favorite color, i told her and she showed me a beautiful necklace that I instantly knew my sister would love. The second necklace was on sale but brought my total up to enough where the first necklas was on sale too. Rebecca explained that if I signed up for the rewards program I would get a discount on my purchase. With the rewards program and both necklaces being on sale and adding warranties to both necklaces, i still spent less than if I had bought just one necklaces. Thank you Rebecca!!
