This is based on my last several experiences at this restaurant. I have been to this restaurant probably 4-5 times in the last six weeks. Here is a summary of what I see and experience. Long drive thru lines....can somewhat be expected due to COVID Slow drive thru experience. Cars advance at a snail's pace. Once at the order board, no one greets you for an extended period which might be for several minutes. Once you are greeted, you may be asked to hold longer. Order taker seems reasonably informed and does adequate job. Once at the window or also if I go inside (which I have) there are several things that are apparent. Employees generally not the best at making the customer experience a positive one. Management ( and this has been true for as long as I have been going there) does not care about cleanliness, or accuracy or even the people who work there. One manager there is constantly just standing around and contributing nothing. It is so true that almost every order is not as you desired. Spicy is given for mild and vice versa. Ask for white meat and you get whatever. Red beans and rice bowl is almost always half full at best. Biscuits are hard like they have been in a warmer for hours. With all this said, I have continued to actually want to go there because I have always like the food.
But, it is time to cut the cord, even I can only take so much incompetence and a restaurant owner or management who cares nothing about the customer's experience. So, bye bye Popeye's and...
Read moreDo not go here if you want friendly service. I love their chicken but almost all of the staff has some MAJOR attitude problems. Tonight my brother and I went through the drive thru around 8:30, the lady comes on the speaker and tells us they are out of mild nuggets and tenders. Okay no problem. I have hearing issues so I thought she had said they only had mild chicken nuggets and tenders left, as my brother starts to order our chicken finger meals she very LOUDLY and RUDELY cuts him off and says “I ALREADY TOLD YOU, WE DONT HAVE THAT”. I just looked at my brother in shock because I cannot believe someone would speak to another person that way. She said it in such a rude way as if we were inconveniencing HER. When all that happened was a simple misunderstanding. She then starts speaking again then sighs very loudly in the speaker as if she’s having to calm herself down from getting so worked up. I told my brother just to drive off, it wasn’t even worth it. The food isn’t the problem for me, it’s the staff consistently. I always say please and thank you and have never been met with a “you’re welcome”, they speak to you as if you’re the problem and have the worst attitudes, I truly hope they can find some better employees. These people need to take a class on manners and attitude. I never write reviews but i’m so disgusted they think it’s okay to talk to people this way. Get some new management and...
Read moreOrdered some drive food via drive thru, just needed to order 4 things for some kids that never ate at Popeyes before, employee asked "is that all?" I asked for a moment to verify, then was immediately asked again, and I was was told to come to the window before I finished verifying that everyone got exactly what they wanted, finally got charged .25 cents per sauce packet at the window because I didn't order them at the kiosk, while I was being rushed before I could verify everything. Only to find out that they ran out of chicken and were cooking some at the moment, meaning I was rushed out of the way just to make me sit there for 15 minutes.
Rushing me, just to make me wait. Charging me for sauces, that they didn't verify I needed. Treated like an inconvenience, despite being polite and respectful.
If you need patience to verify you have everything, or don't know the menu because you don't eat Popeyes often, or are looking for friendly faces after a long hard day and are trying to feed some kids with some fresh food and don't have enough energy to cook at home, then at this time, this is not the place for it. I hope that changes for the better.
I know y'all deal with some uncivilized people throughout the day, but I wasn't one, and was genuinely looking forward to...
