I am really sick of the amount of attitude received from employees as this location. Specifically female. It doesn’t matter what day/time I go, or what female I encounter. They are all rude. I am always respectful and use my manners. And it seems the more I am, the more attitude I receive. I came thru today around 2:25pm today and ordered a beefy 5 layer burrito and a medium Baja blast. When told my total I was notified there was no ice currently, which I was okay with(I understand things happen) but was told my total was regular price on the screen when it is usually a dollar during happy hour. I usually NEVER speak up and correct my orders bc I have to much anxiety to, especially with the way people act. But upon contacting the window, the young female told me my total extremely fast so I didn’t hear her, I then asked her if Taco Bell had removed having 1$ drinks during happy hour bc I noticed the total. She Interrupted me, then snapped and said yeah that’s why I told you your total was 5.85$ with complete attitude. I was told at the monitor it was 7$+. I immediately said okay I am sorry I was just asking I didn’t know. She completely ignored my response and my existence. Shoved the drink out the window without acknowledging me or telling me bye. And then started talking to another female employee who approached her telling her she was about to “come over the counter” on another customer inside. I am only speaking up about this, bc this isn’t the only incident and these aren’t the only females that have been rude to me during my experiences. It’s been going on for months and I’m over it. I’ve worked fast food my whole teenage years and still never treated people the way half of the female employees act there. I understand the public can be rude at times over food and the job can be hard. But like I explained before, I am always nice, always full of manners and never giving anyone a hard time and it seems like no matter what, or who, it’s always rudeness....
Read moreIt has been a while since I've been to a Taco Bell that has earned a review like the one like I could be leaving this one. We've visited this particular store for many years and likely spent a good bit of time in drive-thru as do most in this particular area. It's conveniently located by the local mall that once brought a lot of shoppers. It's on the busy Beltline and opposing sides of the road from McDonald's. It is across the street from one of the Decatur Morgan Hospital campuses and the only Taco Bell on that side of town. It survived Covid where some fast food joints barely (if even) did. It's a non-Mexican restaurant that has had its share of good, fast food. As of late, my past 2 visits have turned over less than mediocre results and 3 ended with my just leaving the line to just go home. One of those visits was just last week when I'd sit in the drive thru line, waiting for each vehicle to sit for 2 to 5 minutes each, just to be told the store was closed before closing time. I work in Healthcare as I have for the past 22 years so I'm no special butterfly. I've also worked my share of fast food, remodel jobs, and retail. I've also worked through times of covid. It doesn't give anyone special privileges but what it has done is show all businesses that most people understand understaffed and are willing to give far more grace when communication is involved. Another visit I encountered a disgruntled employee rolling her eyes when I asked her for napkins as she handed me my cup, dripping with what I hope was soda, down the door of my car and into my car. That will wash away but that kind of customer service will also push away loyal customers and bring more people to write reviews not much different than this one. Customer service still matters. It always will matter. Please, still be kind to the people who work there if you go. There's always room for improvement and you may not meet the same employees and I hope...
Read moreThe wait to receive food was extremely long. My nieces and I waited approximately 50 minutes for 3 orders. One order had 4 items, another had 3 and the last order had 6 items. When we got to Taco Bell there were about 7 or 8 people standing around, but no one was in line to place an order. After placing and paying for their orders, my nieces soon realized why so many people were standing around...they were waiting to have their orders filled. The staff worked somewhat steadily, yet playfully with one another and was very talkative with non-order conversations as they nonchalantly completed each order. I believe this contributed, in part, to the massive delay, unless there was an unknown foot shortage incident or some other incident that prevented them from getting food out, prior to our arrival, that I was not aware of when we walked into this particular Taco Bell. Plus, the girl they choose to call the names of the customers once their food was ready spoke barely above a whisper...??? We were there from 4:26 to 5:12. We almost got left by the bus we rode into town on; the driver took 18 ppl to Golden Corral who ate and were all finished with their food and desserts before we got our order... not a good experience at all... I still don't know why there was almost an...
