AllModern — Local services in Dedham

I bought my newest dining table (round) with 4 chairs here at the ALL Modern store in Denham Legacy Place. I am very happy with the advice I got as my new condo is small and I needed a small round table (41” ) that would look good in my space. Most round tables are over 47 inches and working with Glenda Gaudet at the store, I found one of the best designers I’ve worked with in a very long time. I purchased new furniture on-line but this table was a major challenge. Glenda did the extra research in her free time to find me the table. And like no other designer I have worked with, she went out of the way to help me the table and then the chairs I ended up buying from her also. Her taste is immaculate. All of the sales people are very nice at this store, however, sometimes you need that special designer that really “gets” your space challenge and works with you. Kudos to Glenda! ...

This review is not specifically for the AllModern location in Dedham, but for their online website. We ordered a bed frame on 8/19 with a delivery date of 9/3. We even received an email that it was scheduled to be delivered early on 9/2 and were so excited—only to have it canceled last minute because a package was missing. It has now been over 72 hours and we still have not received any update.

This was our first time ordering from AllModern and unfortunately will be our last. For a high-end store, we expected better communication and customer service. To make matters worse, we were told that if they can’t locate the missing package, it could take another 1–2 weeks just to reorder. This is the first time I have ever bought furniture online and I reached out to All Modern in Dedham, MA. I spoke with Megan twice and Michelle once. Both ladies were very, very helpful and patient as I had 30+ questions about the Nantucket Manchester Platform bed, the matching nightstands, the 6 drawer dresser, the 5 drawer dresser and the mirror. They were spot-on with their answers and it gave me the confidence to make a large purchase without seeing or touching the furniture in person. My husband and I are thrilled with our beautiful dark grey bedroom suite. The furniture is acacia wood with a gorgeous grain and is well built and heavy.
