This review is purely from my experience ordering online. I ordered a caracara sweater from Morley at a sale price that seemed great, but when it arrived the buttons were coming off, and thew few that were affixed seemed to have been sewn on with different thread. I received my order 2/5, contacted their customer service on 2/5 and they offered to send me a return label. I had to repeatedly ask for the return label a few times before getting it on 2/11 where I was told I’d have to pay return shipping for a damaged item. When I asked why, I was told “ It is a final sale item that I could have rejected as sale items are final, but since the buttons were loose I'm willing to let you do the return... ” When I received my refund notification 2/14 I was charged not only return shipping but I was charged for initial shipping too. The same customer service rep, Emily, ignored my inquiry email so hoping she sees my question here. I’ve never had such a terrible experience with a boutique, nor have I ever written a negative review. I told her I was looking for a backup dress for an event- I had already ordered a dress online but since the event was that weekend I wanted to make sure I had a backup in case the one I ordered didn't fit well. I bought two dresses and left. I never took them out of the bag. The dress I ordered online was perfect. I went to return them the following week and was told I could only have store credit. Not once during our entire conversation did the associate mention the return policy. Not once. I would never buy a "back up dress" from a store that would not let me return it. Read moreThis chain of boutiques (Morley, Coco & Co, and Periwinkle) are ripping consumers off. You can easily find an article of their clothing for a cheaper price online. The staff is rude and extremely pushy. I was trying on an outfit, and the sales associate kept coming into my room, asking me if I was going to buy it, because someone else was also interested. This is not a proper way to conduct business. I felt very rushed and uncomfortable, since this sales associate was haggling me about my decision.
