I have shopped a few times at Perrywinkle. Until recently, it was a pleasant experience. Most recently I went to purchase my wife an address for her birthday birthday. It was aI have shopped a few times at Periwinkle.

Until recently, it was a pleasant experience.

Most recently I went to purchase my wife a dress for her birthday. It was a surprise. She is out of town and I explained that she would not be able to try it on for a few weeks to a month.

The staff was helpful with the suggestions. I purchased the highest priced garment that they showed me. I paid cash.

No one mentioned that there was a time limit on a return.

The dress turned out to be a poor fit and needed to be exchanged. Sadly, the Periwinle management Told me that there was a two week time period limit for an exchange.

This had never been explained during the shopping session. I was very clear what the situation was.

This conduct was unfair and inappropriate. Needless to say, we will never set foot in that store again. We believe management was disingenuous and not at all. Customer focused. This could’ve easily been fixed.

The outcome was that my wife was very upset, distressed, and agitated by the store behavior. That was exactly the opposite of what I was intending when I went there for a gift.

I caution anyone entering to be careful with the policy and their moral ethical approach.

I went to return a dress 2 days later and was told there was a no-return policy and I could only get store credit. I'm from out of town so this wouldn't work for me. I explained that I was not aware of this and the saleswoman says "it's on your receipt." Obviously this policy on a receipt is not going to help since that's after the purchase has been made.
