Just need to post this review because we just can’t shake the bad experience we felt.
My husband and I came in on Valentines Day for a manicure and a pedicure. I have been here multiple times and he just one time prior. Sadly our visit was horribly uncomfortable, rushed, and just an over all bad experience.
It first started off by us being asked if we wanted to go to the sister location (I had scheduled our appt., we weren’t just walk ins)because they had more staff and we could have a female do our service. Now keep in mind that there was one female tech working on a client, 2 guys just standing around, and the manager or whoever she is. I asked why we needed to go to another location, and it was assumed we would prefer a female. We said “oh we don’t mind if a guy does it”, and so she proceeded to basically talk one of the guys into working on us while she worked on the other. Neither of them asked us what kind of pedicure we wanted they just sat us down and started to rush through our service as customers came and went, they over booked themselves while again, I actually made an appointment.
The male tech made my husband feel uncomfortable and like he wanted to be done with the service quickly (he was done 30min before me) The manager worked on my pedicure then pawned me off to another tech for my manicure, who really did a mediocre service.
The experience was not worth the $115.00 we spent. It’s been a long time since we felt homophobia and unwelcome in a business, but we definitely felt it there. Not that they will care but they have definitely lost us as a customer, and I will make sure to never...
Read moreI was hoping this would become my regular salon. I was happy going there until my last visit. It was busy which is ok... but they made me feel annoying for trying to make an appointment after I took a lyft to get there trying to be a walk in like usual. I was actually trying to prepare for a date so it was kind of important to me tho maybe my timing wasnt the best. I counted on how they were usually flexible but instead they said they were busy for next 2 hours so just come back later ....and they acted like they didn't care if I'd been there before or not. I'm pretty sure they recognize me I was there many times n use different services. Idk how to describe thinking you've found a place u can rely on for nice customer service n services n prices overall ur happy with.... then feel let down. I'm not a demanding customer. I'll wait my turn politely n leave whatever tip I can but I always leave a tip. I was hoping I was just a good regular customer. They made me feel so awkward n embarrassed I went to another salon. I don't want to go back there but I don't think they care one...
Read moreLet me preface this review by saying I hardly ever get my nails done anymore so when I do it’s really a treat. I came here before Christmas to get a shellac manicure and they did such an amazing job! Super smooth and beautifully done. My only complaint is I got a chrome finish which cost an extra $10 but when in Rome! Anyway, the chrome finish chipped after one day but due to the color you could barely tell so I didn’t bother to get it fixed. Fast forward 2/3 weeks I come in to get the shellac removed and you would have thought I was asking them to help me move. The nail tech asked if I wanted my nails cut and I said yes so she hacked them in half and told me to wash my hands and I was done. At this point I just wanted to leave so I didn’t say anything and tipped 50% and left but jeez! I understand shellac removal might not be the most highly tipped service but two weeks later and my nails are still in shambles. Hangnails, peeling, not doing well. Unfortunately after this experience I think I’m done with any kind of manicure...
