Updated review from a March 2025 visit: I'm so bummed that this place has gone downhill since previous visits. They haven't been able to commit to what kind of food they serve, so it's really all over the place. I loved all their Persian and mediterranean food options, but it seems to be a little bit of everything now. The quality of food and flavor at my most recent visit there just felt like night and day compared to previous visits. There were a TON of fruit flies annoying us while we were trying to enjoy breakfast...and while they were setting up some sort of buffet for lunch. And it was extremely hot and stuffy inside.

Original review from October, 2024: This place is phenomenal. 🤩 Highly recommend visiting, whether you need a place to work for a few hours, want lunch to go, or need w place to meet up with a group of friends for breakfast. The food is so flavorful and well priced. There are plenty of seats and accessible charging outlets at every booth. I appreciate any cafe that has food more than pastries and burritos, and this one hits the nail on the head. Try one of their authentic dishes to really impress your taste buds. I also really love all the stained glass pieces in this cafe. Run, don’t walk!

Just ordered takeout - food was alright but customer service needs a lot of work. I was running late to pick my order up and the older gentleman with the grey hair & goatee was more than happy to let me know I was 20 (even though it was closer to 10-15) minutes late. Blown away that someone would actually say that to a customer, I figured that maybe he thought I was with Doordash/Uber Eats so I told him this was a personal order for me that I paid for and was going to eat personally. He didn’t care as he clearly annoyingly said “well it is what it is”. Like dude I don’t care that I’m running late for something that I paid for and am going to eat - why are you so annoyed by it and trying to do your best to guilt trip me over it?? I don’t know if it bruised his ego that bad because I was late or what but that is definitely not how you treat a paying customer. Like I said, they lucked out that the food wasn’t terrible and that they did make it fast (the only reason I gave 2 stars), but I’d definitely avoid unless you want to have this unnecessarily rude and awkward interaction with this...

Urban Caffe never disappoints! We went there for the Saturday lunch buffet, and it was an incredible experience from start to finish. The variety of dishes was amazing—we tried so many different options, and every single one was fresh, flavorful, and absolutely delicious.

The quality of the food was top-notch, with a perfect balance of spices and flavors in every bite. Whether you’re a fan of hearty mains, fresh salads, or decadent desserts, there’s something for everyone. The buffet was well-stocked and beautifully presented, making it even more enjoyable.

Beyond the food, the service was outstanding! The staff was incredibly friendly, attentive, and always ready to help.

Urban Caffe has definitely become one of our favorite spots in Denver. If you’re looking for a place with amazing food, wonderful service, and a great ambiance, this is it! Highly recommend, and we’ll definitely be back soon.
