What a fun new joint. The patio this summer is going to be the place to be! It has a cozy neighborhood vibe, the food was really good that we tried, and the "strong island" was the best Long Island I've ever had. I can't wait to try more of their cocktails and the boozy shakes.
We had the wings, Greek salad, burger and fries. Everything was fresh and delicious, and the wings are outstanding. Whole (smoked I think?) wings, super crispy on the outside with no breading and juicy and tender on the inside. Nice and hot. Their homemade sauces are also really good - they bring 3 to the table with your order. The Greek salad was actually really yummy - I'm glad they have an option like this even though their menu is small and it's mostly snacks and bar food. It's not full service, at least right now - you order at the bar and they give you a table number and run your food out. Everything came out quickly.
I have a feeling we'll be here often. Very chill.
7/8/25: I'm so happy they're open until midnight during the week - it's so hard to get decent food after 10. The kitchen closes at 11:15, so we made it just in the nick of time yesterday, and everything was awesome - wings, chicharrones, regular burger and feta (vegetarian) burger with fries. And we couldn't skip the strong island. Friendly service, even though we were the last ones there, and fresh delicious food. They do really close at midnight, though - lights on, chairs stacked. Maybe we can get out of the house before 11 next time! I really want to chill on their patio for...
Read moreFood delicious. Service terrible. When me and the husband walked in No greeting, one white guy had a nasty look on his face.(like we did not belong). No wait staff. So , you have to order at the bar and then find a place to sit, we went outside, bartender brings you your food or drinks. My husband goes in and order a 2nd round of drinks, bartender with the nasty look, brings 2nd round of drinks to our table. They did not charge us for the 2nd round of drinks so husband goes back in too pay, but too the first bartender we placed our first order with, so after we gathered our things, we see the nasty looking bartender, my husband politely tells him we payed for our drinks inside already(because you know how they like to call the police on US) so the nasty looking bartender shrugs his shoulders and said SO and that he did not care. HUH?!, Sir if we had just walked off you would have called the police. Mind, you the first bartender stated to my husband “I did not know you purchased a second round of drinks. Everyone, of color is not ignorant and don’t steal, we are hard working citizens also and probably making more money than you. But I digress, we will not be back. And I...
Read moreThis was my first time there since it has opened. I waited until a cooler day during this unbearable summer heat to visit and it was a good visit.
Pros: The jerk chicken pita with pineapple without the coleslaw, french fries with herbs, and hot Amish whole wings with some spicy pickles slices on the side were all good. Good atmosphere plenty of seating inside and outside. I sat outside until the mother nature of bees wanted my food so I went inside and watched Rocky. They have extra plush couches.
Cons: The dole pineapple whip was more so a smoothie and not whipped at all. I added the passionfruit pearls for an extra $2, but nothing special. The drink was actually too sweet. $14 for three whole wings is a bit pricey and the fries portion is not big for the cost of them either.
I will say to have signs up on the doors where to enter as I did not know there were 2 entrances. I would also say to have signs up that you have to order and pay for your food first before sitting inside or outside unless you're at the bar of course. Not sure if they don't have enough staff or not but I did wait for a minute to order my food and get to go boxes as the...
