i’m not sure of this worker name unfortunately I will have to describe him, but it is meant and no racial or biased or judgmental way. He is the black man that typically is found at that very first register unfortunately I would have five stars because the staff there in every area from management down to the cashiers are wonderful. Have always treated me and other customers with respect concern and an overall genuine kindness. I cannot say the same for the black gentleman that works that first register I have called three times on him because I have felt disrespected. I also have spoken to people in my circle, and they knew exactly who I was talking about two people one being my brother , the same type of mug, smug, cocky, arrogant, rude. The customer service rules don’t apply to him type of attitude. He will embarrass you in front of people he does not care. He walks and marches to the beat of his own drum, even if it means, he disrespects a customer , I can’t imagine that I’m the only one that has ever felt this way My Son wanted to correct him for how poorly he treated me the one time and my son is one of the quietest most humble creatures you’ve ever meet. I asked him not to and let me just call management . I personally think he belongs in the back if he belongs there at all, he looks the part of a professional, but then acts like he is superior to anybody that he comes in contact with he will not hesitate to argue with you. He on top of that advise me one time that my Kohl’s bucks we’re not allowed to be used for Adidas Nike or under armor. It’s ironic because he noticed that that’s all I was purchasing that day. I called management and found out that that was completely incorrect and they were sure that he should’ve known that to me. that was some deliberate stuff, I wound up, leaving all my stuff there because he embarrassed me again and I walked out. He asked me in front of customers to go all the way over to a different register which there was no attendant at he was the only attendant at the registers or I wouldn’t even have went to him , but he proceeded to tell me to go over there. I asked him why he felt I needed to do that and in front of everybody he said well they’re fill out a credit card application made me feel like I was a thief all eyes on me and the person‘s wife turned around and looked at me and rolled her eyes me the vibe that honey you don’t have to go anywhere so I didn’t. I contacted customer service and even escalated to a supervisor via the chat option and now I will never shop this company again due to the series of "apologies". This company takes no accountability. Just a bunch of automated replies consisting of "we'll forward your feedback". I ordered this as a Christmas gift. A first Christmas gift. I requested the item be express shipped now as I ordered the gifts well in time to arrive before the week of Christmas. The gathering to exchange gifts is actually on the 23rd but in contacting customer service I requested the item by Christmas. I expressed discontent due to the first representative not forwarding my concerns (or feedback as they call it) to his supervisor for review before ordering. He did not attempt to do so as the order was placed immediately upon ending the chat with standard shipping. When I contacted customer service again and expressed my concerns regarding the representative having not done what he said he would, she refused to acknowledge it and just relayed the shipping information and ...apologized for the delays in shipping. I then requested a supervisor he replied (on behalf of himself and his representatives) "WE apologize and hope it arrives before Christmas". WE. I find this a bit sarcastic. I've spent years in customer service and I would never be so rude to a customer. Get your shipping options together. Your customer service is horrendous. I don't even want to leave one star and I will not step foot in this store again.

   Read moreEmployees in the store I've encountered seem pretentious. One employee made snide remarks to my disabled son who was simply looking for shoes. He got scared and ran away without thinking to put the shoes away correctly. Then she made additional rude comments. I would've put them away myself but I thought my son's feelings were more important than hers. Also, the shoe on display was cheaper than they rang up at the register. I told the cashier this and she still put it through. So I had to drag my kids back to the shoe department, grab the shoe on display, then walk a marathon to customer service to recoup some of the money I shouldn't have been charged for in the first place. I was in the store for an extra half hour correcting your mistake. Also, I told the cashier I don't have a kohls card, and I'm not interested in getting one. She told me to put in my social security number. I said what's this for. She said I can get 40% off my purchase next week. I'm like huh? For what....? Kohls credit card. No thank you. I don't want a credit card, don't use them, not interested. Why did she make me type in my social if I said I was not interested in the first place.
