Surprised To Say The Least! I stopped in on a whim and found they had a huge selection of salsa, dip, and other samples available. After confirming these were samples for anyone and available any given day, I stayed to ask about hot salsas, sauces, and coffee. Store clerks were extremely friendly and knowledgeable, which I wasn't expecting when it came to info on the hot sauces. The person helping me even checked the store inventory to see about letting me sample some of those that weren't open. After having torched my mouth on the hot sauces, I was in no position to sample any of the wide selection of Oils, Vinegars or Vinaigrettes, but I'll definitely be back for those. Purchased a really nice blended coffee, which they also ground up for me as well as a a really full flavored Carolina Reaper based hot sauce and specialty Ghost Pepper Salsa!

First, it's a Fitger's shop, so when you shop you have to go into it knowing you're going to pay a premium since it's not a grocery store, nor a Bed Bath and Beyond. This is a small, specialty local shop in a sought-after location, and prices reflect that. While not everything offered here is unique to this one store, I do love visiting for unusual food-related gifts, and specific (quality) cooking equipment or ingredients for my own use. Our beloved Vitamix is a prime example.

Being that we live in a small city without some of the chain stores and variety larger cities have, I think we're very fortunate to have little gems like this to offer goods (and service) you can't necessarily get at...

Wow. Just wow. The service, the selection and the prices are right on point. Everything about our experience was perfect. Nicole took great care of us and ensured we got what we needed. Thank you for assisting us with our Wüsthof purchase. I will be placing an online order very soon.
