Great prices per serving size and efficient staff who work quickly to take care of you during your lunch break from work. Mongolian is one of our favorites and this place stood out compared to others in cleanliness and freshness. This is my boyfriends second time here, my first time, and we will definitely be coming back. Their bathrooms were very clean also. We had two large bowls with rice on the side and two beers for less then 40.00$ !! During times of inflation and prices going up all around us… it’s nice to have a Mongolian lunch with prices your used to, such a relief to see prices remaining the same somewhere.

Large bowls for a Mongolian grill. The meat and vegetables selections are not that great. Typical dinner should offer some type of fish, or shrimp. They do offer fake crab...yuck. The cooks, well they add water to your meal while cooking...that washes away all the flavor that you just put in your bowl. The service was great...the waiter did a great job making sure I had all I needed. Now the kitchen...100% gross! Seriously I feel the health department should shut them down!

What a great little place! The food was exactly as expected - delicious! It's so much fun to put together your dish, with whatever meats & veggies you want, add the sauces, then hand your bowl over to the chef to watch him cook it up for you on their huge grill. They do their cooking with a long sword-like device to move the food around until it's done. I followed their suggested recipe of sauces foe my dish, and it turned out great! I will definitely go back again.

My wife and I are relatively new to the Treasure Valley, now living in Star. We came today to eat at the Greek restaurant next door, but it is closed on Sunday and Monday. We saw Mongolian of Eagle and decided to give it a try. We came on a Monday about 11:30 am.

Upon entering, I liked it immediately. It was very similiar to a restaurant I really liked back when I lived in San Diego. There are booths and tables on both sides of the ingredient bar and grill. They have three sizes: small, medium and "Barbarian" (large). My wife got the medium size and I got the Barbarian.

There are veggies, noodles, meats, and oils that you can choose from to make your dish. There are also toppings like cashews, peanuts, and crunchy noodles. They ask that you not press your ingredients down in order to get more in the bowl, and say they have to right to charge extra if you do. Still, we piled ours pretty high, as did others in the restaurant, and it was not a problem. Once you've made up your bowl, one of the cooks pours it out on to the circular grill and walks it in a circle until everything is fully cooked, hot and fresh. They then put it on a plate for you, and off you go to your table.

It was very yummy, and healthy. Also, for weekday lunch, very reasonable. We are getting two meals out of it.

I don't know how busy they are in the evenings and on weekends, but today they were not busy while we were there, and we love that. We're retired, so we try to go places during the week to avoid the crowds.

This will very likely become one of our go-to places to eat. We found it accidentally, and we're so...

Absolutely TERRIBLE customer service. I'm shocked how rude they are here. I've never tried Mongolian before, but it came highly recommended to me by a friend. Since my mother is stuck on "Kosher" meats, I called the restaurant to ask what kind of meats they carry. The gentleman immediately replied, "I'm busy. If you want to see, come into the restaurant" and hung up!! I called right back and asked to speak to a manager. The same man once again answered saying "I'm busy, come in and I'll show you" and hung up a second time!! I am still reeling in frustration to be treated like this over the phone. I wouldn't step foot in a restaurant that treats customers so badly over the phone instead of answering a simple question. I don't know how they've stayed open this long. Companies with service like this have NO place in Eagle, ID. Or anywhere in Idaho for that matter. My family has lived here for 10 years now, and love the people in this great state. Individuals like this give Idaho a bad reputation....

You'll notice all the bad reviews have a common theme. I mean seriously, it's not a competition to see how much food you can pile in a small bowl and leave a disaster everywhere. Yet I see it every time. The bottom line is this is one of the best Mongolian places I've been to. I mean most Mongolian restaurants never stray too far from the formula so you know what you are getting. However what one gets here that one often doesn't at others is fresh ingredients that are always cold and often with some ice still on top to keep them cool and fresh. The manager/host (I assume) is always so very nice and friendly. These folks definitely do right by Idaho and I sincerely hope they stick around. We're lucky to have them. Clean, fast, tasty, friendly. I'll take that any...
