I was within the return/exchange window (30 days?)
Anyway the first girl at Aritzia American Dream refused to return the item for store credit - I asked her why is that, if I meet all of the criteria in the return policy? She said I needed to exchange it for something of equal or greater value, however I didn't see anything in store I loved atm and I didn't want to get any old thing just to return/exchange it again. I then told her to give me a moment and while I was trying to get Aritzia corporate on the phone she called her manager, who also was looking for any excuse to not honor the return/exchange policy, I remained silent again looking to get a hold of someone at corporate, and the manager finally decided to give me store credit. Her words were, verbatim "I can just give you store credit." That's all that I wanted to begin with! This whole ideal took about 50 minutes, for what? I reported the store employees and described the issue at length to their Customer Service department, they assured me they would communicate this to the store manager(s) directly.
Also, the next time I visited the store, maybe two weeks or so after the whole return dilemma, I was met by the same employee that refused my return. I had nothing in my hands other than my purse and my cell. Tell me why the employee comes up to me and says "Do you have anything to return?" Um... does it look like I do? I know she was being petty. I decided to be polite and I said no I don't and I looked away but God writing this now gave me the biggest pit in my heart.    Read moreThis was the first time I have visited an Aritzia store front. The service here was impeccable. I needed a new work wardrobe for the office. I was greeted by every member of the team as well as the manager during my visit. They really helped me find pieces that worked for my body type. They were so accommodating, pleasant, and honest. I tried on so many items and ultimately decided on 6 staple pieces for my wardrobe. The Conan crop pants are the most comfortable professional pants I have ever tried on. Their body suits are so flattering as it contours to your body. I have purchased body suits from Abercrombie, Express, H&M, & Banana Republic and these are by far the nicest suits I have ever had. The pieces are wardrobe staples that will no go out of style so it is worth the extra money.
The dressing room was so beautiful and elegant. It made the experience that much nicer. It is so hard/nerve wracking to find clothes to go back to the office post maternity leave. I was pleased to walk into a store where the people genuinely are helpful and do not give you an attitude for asking for additional pieces and sizes. You can tell this store in managed VERY well. After my experience at Aritzia, it was hard to shop at any other store because no other store offers this type of quality customer service.

   Read moreWent here a week ago to make an exchange on a jacket cause the size was too small, the staff who helped us out was super friendly and nice, and even showed us a bunch of options that we could get since they were out of stock at the store. Everything was going well until we got to the register. As we were about to process the exchange with the staff who helped us out, another staff member comes to us in a very unwelcoming way and tells us that theyâre unable to do anything about it since the tag was missing and she tells us this in a very rude way. She was tiny and petite. It all works out in the end and I understand that Aritzia has a strict policy with the tags but I hope that the customer service at this location can do a better job with how they treat and talk to their customers.
I do applaud the one staff member who had a 777 and 444 tattoo who helped us out from the moment we entered until we left. Thank you so much for all the assistance! Me and my mom...
