Grisini Pizza — Restaurant in East Rutherford

The pizza was not good. When we go to American Dream, the lines always seem so long, and I thought to give this place a try. It is located on the third floor food court.

I ordered two slices of "New York Style." They have the pies displayed by the front for everyone to see. It looked fine behind the glass. Once it was taken out of the oven, the taste was not as good as I thought.

Cheese was stiff, more dough than sauce, or your expectation of wanting a delicious plain slice.

I also have never seen a pizza establishment using a pizza cutter without gloves. I watched as a male and a female employee at the front cut separate pies. However, they touched the crusts with their hands before they placed in the oven.

I'm not planning to come back. Couldn't finish my second slice. It wasn't worth it to eat the rest. The cashier was friendly, and all forms of payment...

Horrible customer service. My change was $9.49. They gave me $9.45 then was mad at me that i asked for my four cents! Then they gave me pepperoni pizza instead of buffalo chicken and Im Muslim, theres no way i ordered pepperoni! They gave me the right one but was still upset about the four cents so did not say sorry for their mistake, no -thanks for your business, nothing. And the owner stood by and didnt apologize either. I hate when people dont gove basic courtesy or when they act like its an inconvenience to make the experience right. I would never go there again. So sick of businesses who dont value their customers enough for basic ...

If your plan is to get a NYC/ SOHO or Brooklyn style pizza with some panache… this isn’t the place for that. However, if you’re looking to grab a few slices for hungry kids who need some energy to run around for a few hours… you can’t beat this place. Steel mesh baked pizzas stretched on an oiled surface with a medium crust and a passable Margherita sauce could use a better grade of cheese but is still ok for mall pizza. One reviewer stated pizzas weren’t cut by someone wearing gloves. I’m from Brooklyn… and I’ve never ever seen that at a REAL NYC or Jersey shore pizzeria… maybe at dominos but does that even count...
