I rarely leave negative reviews, but my experience at the Balenciaga store was disappointing and uncomfortable enough to speak on. I walked in casually dressed and without a shopping bag, simply wanting to browse and get a feel for the store. From the moment I entered, I felt unwelcome. The staff gave me cold stares and what seemed like suspicious, judgmental looks. Instead of being greeted or offered assistance, I was followed around the store as if I didn’t belong there.
It was very obvious and made me feel singled out and uncomfortable. I understand security is important in high-end stores, but there’s a respectful way to do that without making customers feel like they’re being profiled based on appearance. I came in with genuine interest in the brand and its products, but left feeling dismissed and judged.
Everyone deserves to be treated with basic courtesy, no matter how they’re dressed or what they look like. Luxury shopping should be about experience and respect, and unfortunately, this visit fell far short of that.
