Victoria's Secret & PINK — Local services in Edison

Walked into Menlo Mall to buy pantie+bra matching pairs: 2 black, 1 red, 1 white (for under a dress) and 1 animal print. Plus 2 single lingerie pieces and one of the Bombshell perfumes.

Today, Tuesday just after lunch, not that crowded.

I had almost half of the clothing in my hands but needed help with the white underwear, seamless for the dress. The sales person helping could not find what I needed but that rest assured it was straight back, still on the VS side of the store (not the PINK side), but that she was unable to cross over to help me - that she would send someone back there to help the "lost guy" (my words, not hers).

So I guess they are doing zone coverage and not man to man. After walking around in circles and back and forth between her zone and the back zone, thinking she would feel sorry for me and assist with the rest of the sale, what seemed to be 10-12 minutes passed and I had to leave. I was so close to getting everything I needed and spending around $700

Any sales manager or sales person who has someone who is about to purchase a decent $ amt, never lets that person sit high and dry or leave the store. She should have shadowed me and got me to get everything I was looking for (although I didn't see any animal print anywhere as I was there, you never know what's hidden in back or in one of those drawers). Call an audible and go man to man and get me to the register so I don't leave without spending a penny - which is exactly what happened.

On Thursday I will be shopping this again in a store or online that is not related to Victoria's Secret. If you can't be bothered to assist with the sale I'm not going to...

Victoria's Secret has gone down hill so far I don't believe they can find their way to this reality. The reality that not everyone is a Size 0-4 nor striving to be that size. In the past 15 years I've noticed something in the fashion industry that really changed things. An XL is not really a true XL it really is closer to a Medium in most circumstances. I weigh about 150 max and carry it well but I literally in some brands can be a 1X even a 2X. A VS XS panty looks like it would fit a 5 yr old boy. Why are we striving to look like little boys? My experience at VS was poor nobody helped me. I was lucky enough to find a few XL in a different drawer because all the pretty lacy ones were gone. This was Menlo Park Mall in NJ. Not 1 salesperson wanted to help me or thought that keeping Small & medium fully stocked wasn't a problem but Large & Xtra large was completely gone or only had neutral plain color available. I'M SICK OF THIS COMPANY. #BOYCOTTVS...

I went there because I had a coupon for three things for free. This lady treated me like I came to steal something. Because I had done photo coupon on my phone she was checking my phone three times, Then she checked twice my VS credit card. Through all of this I started to feel that I was doing something wrong, and because I have trouble with my heart I started to shake. When she finally gave me those things she asked me to show her this coupon again. And guess what.... she deleted the photo I also got free blue hat (when you buy something) so I asked if she could exchange the blue hat on black hat ( they have different colors) she not pleasantly replied to me "the black all gone " Leaving the store I asked the other person that works there and there was a lot of black hats. He gave me a black hat and told me to stand in a long line once again to the cashier to give me exchanged. TERRIBLE...
