I went to this store on Sunday, December 1st. I came in to upgrade my phone. I wanted to go into a store because itâs easier. So I thought. I have never had an Xfinity rep not want to help me upgrade or buy a new device. I walked in. I was looking at phones and Apple Watches and a guy came up to me, never introduced himself, so I do not know his name. He has blondish reddish short hair and maybe facial hair. When he came up he asked hi what can I do for you. I explained that I was wanting to upgrade my phone. He didnât ask my name, he didnât pull my account number up, he didnât ask me what phone I was looking at. He immediately said, let me see your phone I want to see the damage. I said, weird, but ok itâs newer just got it in July because I had water damage on my other. He said nope canât take it. I was like ummmmm in my years of trading in phones never had this issue. On the website, it stated free of water damage and cracks. I have tiny little scratches. And I mean tiny. Definitely not an issue you canât even see them. He said I can rub my finger across and feel them. Canât take it. I was like ok give me my phone Iâm out of here. I left. Called customer care because none of this made sense. The lady I talked to was super sweet and said, âI never heard of a rule that if you can feel a scratch we canât accept the phone. If no cracks, it turns on, screen is functional and no water damage then itâs ok. But what she did that this guy did not was ask me my name, pulled up my account, and was able to seamlessly upgrade my phone. But she went a step above and said wait you never signed up for rewards letâs get that signed up you should be platinum. And I was. And she said do you want a watch at $150 off. I said absolutely. Since she wanted to be helpful, and wanted to do her job, and took the time to talk to me, she got me signed up for rewards, upgraded my phone, sold me a watch, and added a line. Thatâs a pretty big sale you lost out on because you couldnât be bothered. I almost left Xfinity due to how your store treated me. Luckily customer care helped. If you want to go through Xfinity go to the granger office or call in. Donât come here it is not worth the time or energy to go this...
Read moreI was talking to an agent on the phone from Xfinity about internet service and she told me I could have a mobile phone for $25 month so I placed an order for the phone then found out that I had to stay with Xfinity internet to have the phone for $25. I called them back within a few hours to cancel but told me I couldnât and said when I get the phone just return it so I took it to the Xfinity store in Elkhart still in the shipping box I received it in. I never even opened it. The manager, Trey, said he waived the restocking charges but when I checked my bank account they charged my credit card $37.45. I contacted Xfinity and told them they owe me a credit for that but said once itâs charged they canât issue a refund so I contacted my credit card company and is filing a dispute to recover the charges. Still waiting to see if it will be resolved. Never going to deal with Xfinity again. Multi million dollar company that canât refund a measly $37.45, they might file bankruptcy.
I just heard back from the credit card company and they said that Xfinity told me restocking fees are non refundable but Trey, the store manager, said he waived the restocking fees when in fact he didnât. He did submit a claim to XFINITY to waive the restocking fees, but they denied the claim. The company should stand by what the store manager told me and waive the...
Read moreIt is not the store itself, but just. Xfinity in general. I wanted to delete some channels off my bill and tried to call them. They said there was always a wait time and to use their app. Two hours later, nearly in tears, I finally gave up. They kept saying they would connect me with a real person, to just textâ READYâ in the text.we after 11 times of that I just gave up. There should be a way to talk to a real person and not have to be in tears because you canât get through. I am a special Education Paraprofessional on Spring break, my time is important and I wonât have time for any of this next week. I am about ready to quit and take my business elsewhere. But I have no complaints about the service itself and need good internet for e learning days. I just wish I could talk to a...
