Five Below — Local services in Elkhart

08-03-2024 1:30pm: This place is awesome! My mom has mobility issues from her age, so she asked the cashier for help. The cashier, Katie (I hope I spelled that right) told my mom where they were but noticed she was struggling to find them. She went back and showed my mom where they are exactly and then came to help us check out. She was courteous , respectful, polite and professional. It looked like she was running the store bye herself and doing an AWESOME JOB. The floors were clean, the shelves were stocked and neatly arraigned. If every Five Below had a Katie, they’d replace Walmart. This is the location I’m going to tell everyone they should shop at. The employees running this store know what they’re doing for sure....

Very rude employee. Tall man. I think he was a manager too. Very sad. He very rudely told Mr they were closing when I walked in. Then they shut off the lights with several customers shopping. And rudely chased us out.

Clearly they don't appreciate having jobs.

No longer shopping at this store where I'm not respected as a human being.

If ya don't want cash paying job providing customers walking in learn how yo use a simple door lock. It ain't hard dude. I learned that in elementary school.

Or put a sign on the door. Or post an employee at the door.

There is like aillion ways to approach this without being disrespectful to your fellow man.

It would have been 5 stars but the cashier was kind of rude.

We found what we needed and we where heading up to pay. On the register it asks if we where greeted or not. I honestly didn't remember if we did so I asked my 9yo if we where greeted. He has a pretty good memory. He said we didn't so I marked it as a no on the server. The cashier got angry and started to fight with my son. I told my son to not worry about it and we left.

Besides the little fight the cashier had with my son it was a nice trip. The store was clean and easy to navigate. Lots of fun...
