Wings Etc. — Restaurant in Elkhart

I have been getting wings from this location on New Years eve for many years. Yesterday was the absolute worst experience I have ever had with them. Their automated ordering process was HORRIBLE. Went through it, placed my order, finally got a live person on the line that did not have a good grasp of the English language. I asked 2 times to have my order repeated back to me to make sure it was right and was told they were closing at 4 p.m. Lot earlier than I wanted the food, but okay. Arrived to pick up at 3:45, and sign and hostess said they were open until 9 p.m. I told the hostess about the automated order process and how bad it was, and that was echoed by 2 other people picking up as well, along with the incorrect hours. She said they'd gotten lots of complaints but nothing she could do. Took my order and left, shame on me for not checking it. Arrived home to find I had been shorter a whole order of 16 wings. Called the restaurant back to report the issue and got a very nasty sarcastic young lady on the phone that asked me what she expected her to do about it. I politely requested a call back from management, so far nothing. I will NEVER do business with them again. WORST EXPERIENCE EVER.

I have to say that was one of the worst experiences I’ve had in a while. Went inside and was immediately sat down (table for 2) and given the menu to look over. Then continued to wait for 15 minutes until we finally got a waitress.

The ordering process was pretty good and the drinks came pretty quickly as well. Received our food, got a hamburger and friend got wings.

The hamburger was actually pretty good but the wings were undercooked, soggy, and disappointing.

The waitress took a while to give us a refill on the drinks and didn’t check up on us as much as I would like but I understood that she was busy.

Finished eating my food, friend didn’t eat the wings and was going to take them home to cook them in the oven for a little longer since they were basically undercooked.

Again, waitress took a while to give the check and gave the smallest box when asked for a To go box for the wings.

The food was okay but expensive for a horrible experience. I do not recommend you go here to eat. Go to a different restaurant that will actually cook your food properly and your waiter/waitress check up on you.

Edit: Owner responded and I tried to reach out and they never answered back so they aren’t making it right at all just making...

A few weeks ago we went in with a group of 6 adults + a child. We waited forever for the "hostess" to come over and even acknowledge us. She was just sitting at a table talking with some people. When she did she basically told us, VERY rudely, there weren't any available tables. She didn't even offer to put our name on a list or anything. When I asked how long the wait would be she basically told us they couldn't accommodate our group our group at all. Then she gave us the most disgusted look ever and returned to the table she had been talking to. And if that wasn't bad enough, I just made a call to place a takeout order and was pretty much hung up on. I've worked over 13 years in customer service and it takes a lot for me to even write this kind of review but Wings, Etc. has THE WORST customer service I have ever seen. I have no idea where management is or what they are doing, but they need to get some new, friendly, energetic staff there. It's a shame because the food is good and so is the atmosphere, but if they are going to be rude and not willing to serve paying customers then they won't get another dollar from me. I will definitely not be back and I definitely won't recommend this...
