Marc's Stores — Local services in Elyria

My family loves shopping at Marc’s. They always have new and great priced items in stock. The seasonal items are always available for great prices. They have a great selection of gluten free items and vegan/vegetarian. The fresh produce is always available and at really great prices. Depending on the season, they offer all sorts of different treats and candies. Easter basket shopping is so easy here because they have everything in one store rather than running all over to different locations. They have a great pet selection,greeting cards, office supplies, and just about anything else you would be looking for. The store is handicap accessible and plenty of parking available, including handicap. The store is pretty easy to find location wise and the employees are generally friendly...

To many negatives to list. I use there ATM which they get a % for using. But will not make change for you unless you buy something. And yesterday I had picked up a couple groceries. My bill was $31.84. the tuna I bought was 5 for $5. They did not change prices in their system. So the cashier went to try and adjust and the next price came to $36 and change. I said it's 1.25 from the $31.84. So a manger is called over. She wants me to now unpack everything to re ring my order. Not only does she say oh sorry we forgot to ring an item my bill totals now out to be over $40. Smh. I will not shop here again until proper management is put into place to correct these issues. I will travel now just to shop at Walmart. So much for...

For the most part I'm pleased with Marcs and their prices, however the frozen pizza area is a mess. I wanted to buy a Digerno pizza, but there were no stickers anywhere telling me a price to ask why there are no prices anywhere for Digerno pizza, he told me he didn't and that I should scan it. I am 69 yrs old when I go to buy food I want to know what I am paying for. I shouldn't have to take the item and scan it. I blame this stores manager for allowing a disaster for a freezer case. There were no managers to be found anywhere. I will go to the Marcs at the Sheffield Plaza from now on. Someone needs to clean up the Midway Marcs...
