Casual Lounge — Restaurant in Englewood

My oh my, I don't know where to begin. How about the fact that it probably hasn't been cleaned since I was in there 18 years ago. Went to a show at The Gothic Thursday and decided to go in there because everybody at the Gothic was told to leave, and we were not quite done yet 😁 So we sauntered over to the casual. I can attest to one thing that it actually smells a little worse than it used to. The old staff is gone probably on dialysis somewhere. The bartender was nice but she was hurrying up because her night was coming to an end. They still over serve until people are slumped over, making absolutely no sense and talking jibberish. That's probably one of the few times only though, that I didn't see a patron with a pee stain on the front or back of their pants. The good thing is is that you can go to this bar and probably never ever meet anybody that you know. So if you want to get away and need some alone time this may be the local haunt for you. It absolutely is a dive with a capital DIVE. Definitely keep your eye on your money on the bar because as soon as you go to play a song at the jukebox you'll be a few bills short when you get back to your barstool. I went to this bar after one night after frequenting it many times. It was my solace when I felt overwhelmed when hanging with my friends. However one night a man at the bar antagonized me all night and was rude. I tried to ignore it but eventually didn't want to deal with it anymore so I reacted. None of the staff asked me what he was saying or what happened. I thought I was a loyal regular who could at minimum get feedback. Instead they called the cops on me and the man who antagonized me all night came out whilst I was talking on the cops and loudly lied that I had pulled a weapon him. Which was untrue but added to my anxiety and concern. I ended up going back to this bar today hoping to talk to someone in a less intense environment. I was told that I was in the wrong and should have regulated my emotions better. When I asked if the video footage she saw had audio I was told 'No'. So the bar had no idea what was said to me nor how I was treated. I would hate to have been a woman who was disrespected even more and have the establishment not...

Me and a crowd of friends were headed there after work. We walked into what we thought was a fight. It turned out to be a manager or supervisor screaming and degrading another employee with his hand and face right in the others face. The manager or supervisor was an extremely tall white man with a red face. The smaller employee was a smaller guy with a beard. Also, people stopped at the light were recording the whole situation. I'm sure it's on social media now. It made us turn around and head to the whiskey biscuit. If you treat your employees that way, how would you treat your customers? Very unprofessional...
