Trolley Square — Local services in Englewood

This is the closest grocery store to my home. Half of the time I get great customer service, but occasionally, I get treated terribly. I went to the customer service desk to return a $3 jar of mayo and got accused of stealing. They did not allow me to refund the jar of mayonnaise without a receipt. I gave the "service manager" all of the details of when the mayo was purchased, they went to the back office and found the transaction. Decent king soopers. The bathrooms are usually pretty grimy but the rest of the store is fairly clean, the discount produce rack can accumulate fruit flies occasionally and the bargain rack is usually a giant mess. I've had a few employees who had a big attitude problem but they never work there long and the longterm staff is always friendly Other than that it's a great store. Well organised and stocked. A decent Kroger, but honestly if you can shop at another, I would. The produce is fine, and the butcher is great. But the rest of the staff is generally unfriendly to the point of bordering rude. The shop is well into 40 years of operation and has a few signs showing its age. If you're a late night shopper, this store isn't for you, and avoid it the are stocking shelves. Again, not a friendly place - but even when compared to other Kroger shops....
