I have been shopping at this store for almost my whole life, over 40 years and never a problem...Three weeks ago I went in to make a purchase. On my way to the register, I was stopped by the cashier, Marshall. He very confrontational and accused me of stealing in front of other customers. I emptied my pocket and showed him that is was just my phone. I then told him that I don't steal, and that if he wanted, I would leave $100 with him, and if he ever thought I stole, he could take it out of that. I was being serious. This made him mad, I guess, because he refused to sell me my items...last week I went in again to make a purchase. Again, Marshall was working. He yelled at me and told me that the owner's did not want me in there anymore. I asked, "Why? Because you accused me of stealing when I didn’t?" After talking to many other people around the neighborhood, I found many recent similar stories concerning Marshall. The Courthouse Market is a good store, just beware of the cashier, Marshall. Read moreI’ve been a loyal customer of this store for many years, but sadly, my recent experiences have been nothing short of appalling. Marshall, the evenung cashier, has gone from simply one of the nicest guys to being downright hostile. I get that his clientele can be tough, but taking out his frustrations on paying customers is unacceptable. It's disheartening to see such a sharp decline in the quality of service, and quite frankly, I don’t think I’ll be coming back to this store for my last-minute purchases anytime soon. This place is no longer worth the aggravation or high prices. What has happened...
Read moreThis place was a disappointment to say the least, first I walk in with my son to get some salt and pepper for the dinner we are making while on vacation and we are met with sneers from the shop keeper and when I ask if they have pepper I am quickly and angrily told no but after less than a minute we find the salt and pepper. I then grab a container of lychee and a beer for myself and when I go to check out the clerk looks at my 15 year old son and demands his ID to which I laugh thinking it is a joke and tell the clerk " Hey he is the old one" and the clerk says we'll I can't sell you the beer then if you both are not over 21 . This is outrageous customer service and this guy should be appauld. I will never give this place my money again. I wish I could...
