Brought watch in to get a repair estimate. Called me back said $250 to get it in working order. Waited a month said there was a delay on parts, should still get it six weeks. At six weeks said there still working on it. Six months later I just cold stop by and meet with management and the watch guy. They say they are having trouble getting it to keep time. I explain my disappointment to them saying, I gave you a blank check to repair the watch, what's the hold up? You guys do rolexes?!? I needed the watch for a special occasion that I already missed. I said I don't want to wait til October, due to another company engagement. The assured me I'd get it before then. Waited til Oct and picked it up. They cant find my watch for a while. Then, they say they were able to fix the watch, but didn't get ahold of me for whatever reason. They try to get me to pay the service fee and the new watch band. I told the lady didn't expect to pay anything, due to the circumstances. They waive the service fee and still make me pay for the new band. Day later the watch still doesn't keep time. I wasn't going to write a bad review due to waiving the service fee. But poor repair and customer service made me do it. Nice store, was looking forward to building a relationship with them. I guess I'll have to go elsewhere. Check the dates on the photo I posted. 100% true, almost a year. You figured they would try to right their wrongs in some kind of way. If it's quick and easy they might be able to help you. Any degree of difficulty, good luck. I'm sure they are going to follow this post up with some apology, like they care. But actions keep louder than words. It's easy to write a apology to save public face. Be wary, genuine action would be DOING SOMETHING.

In there rebuttal, was a bunch of lies. No one ever at any point suggested I just take the watch back. On one occasion you said I could see it on the work bench. No one is impressed with your long stabbing responses. Makes you look bad when you could just do better. Why tell me it was fixed when I got it. You guys are a joke. Your crazy to believe i was persistent about you guys working on it. You guys were the first place I went due to your nice store. This is the process for repair at your store since you have no idea: drop the watch off, get a call for work estimate, accept estimate. When I got the estimate you didn't even tell me what you were doing or repairing, you said 250. I accepted it because money was no object. Love the clown act, very funny. You guys are funny at fabricating stories. Literally you could've replaced the entire inside of the watch like I told you to your faces. Does that sound "reliable" to you? Please continue to respond to me, I got all day to burn a terrible business that will lie for no reason. Fyi YOU SELL ROLEXES, no one is impressed with you talking about Annemasse, France. Easy out from a idiotic business. You didnt even remotely suggest you couldnt fix it. Drops some prove here. Why invest money in parts you knew were going no where. I came in begging you to repair a $20 ebay watch??? Come on now, your making absolutely no sense. Sounds like your a liar. Side note, whose name is behind all the comments on reviews, stand on your responses so we all know your character. I see how you guys respond to dissatisfaction, I've been waiting for it. I see how you trash everyone. There's absolutely never no wrong on your side of the fence ever. Pretty much record yourself in the store with them bc you can't trust them in their own territory. Also no one ever said they paid for the repair. I literally stated that. I love the new policy, sounds like you wasted money and realized you better stick to basic repairs like i previously...
Read moreI went engagement ring shopping this afternoon. We do not look “trashy” or like we were there to waste anyone’s time, despite the way we were reacted to immediately upon walking into the store. The sales associates narrowed their eyes at us and didn’t greet us, and acted standoffish and like they didn’t want to help us. We stated we were engagement ring shopping, and they hesitantly walked us to the engagement display case. I wanted to try on a couple rings, and they scowled at us like we couldn’t afford them… and acted like they didn’t even want to pull them out of the case. After trying some on, we inquired about lab grown versus real diamonds. We hadn’t talked about prices, weren’t complaining about prices, didn’t look like we just came off the street. Immediately, without any questions after a couple rings try ons, the older male sales associate assumed and loudly denounced,”I bet yall are looking for lab grown. We ONLY SELL REAL DIAMONDS HERE. But we can give you a lab grown diamond for free after payment for the band style you like, we give them away for free because they’re worthless and have no resale value, do t want people wasting their money on worthless lab grown diamonds”. We are not jewelers by any means, but if made us feel condescended and like they just assumed we can’t afford anything or whatever he thought, clearly he had a snobbish attitude towards us from the second we walked in. I never leave mean reviews, but this is shameful. A couple trying to have a special day picking out an engagement ring and he’s dissing us and assuming we can’t afford a real diamond? I will never be back, and I will make sure people know how Brinkers treats customers. You want business, you treat people with respect. We had an excellent experience at Droste’s just down the road, and that is who deserves our money. And by the way, we could afford a “real” diamond if...
Read moreThe staff was VERY friendly, but all I wanted was a battery for my watch. It's nothing fancy. Just a $300 Seiko. They asked if I would leave it for a week. (FOR A BATTERY??) I said sure, even though I was hoping someone would just do it right then. Then she told me it would be $40 when I picked it up. $40!!! For a battery? I've had SOME shops do it complimentary. They said they were going to check all the springs and switches. I didn't need any of that. I just wanted a battery. A simple watch battery. When I got my watch back, $40 later, the watch now has a rattling/ringing when it moves. I took it back and asked them to look at it. The lady was very nice and agreed it was ringing. Their watch guy told her to tell me that's just the sound the bracelet makes on it. It's MY watch. I know it didn't sound like that before. It does now and it's very annoying. Everyone can hear it and asks what's wrong with my watch now. They forced extra service on me. I didn't want it, but I did accept it so its my fault but I HATE how my watch rattles now. And I'm very disappointed that I was told that's just how it sounds. If it sounded like that before, I wouldn't have brought it back saying it has a rattle to it. The watch guy didn't even talk to me. He relayed the message to the lady. Very...
