Subway — Restaurant in Evansville

Go somewhere else if you're hungry. I order the exact same sandwich at every Subway in town, and this is the only place where my footlong ends up coming out like a flatbread. They skimp on everything like another reviewer said. The lettuce looked like it had been out for a while, very discolored so skipped it. The meat only covered 3/4 of my sandwich and there wasn't enough spinach to even line up the length. The bathroom is always out of order, which doesn't affect me but might others. They frequently don't have sweet tea available at the fountain. I understand not everyone has a bubbly attitude, but when I don't feel welcome in a place I'm not likely to return. The staff are polite but not friendly; they are purely running a business and saving money/reducing waste any way they can. I'm done wasting my money here, it's too expensive for what you get. Staff is nice and acknowledges you when you walk in and is super friendly. I have been here numerous times and always get the same courteous service. I love this store because they make you feel special each time you go and are always attentive to provide quality services to you. I would highly recommend this location of Subway, which seems privately owned. It is important that a customer is provided with the best quality service possible and this is the place to go to receive such service. The space is small but provides for more intimate areas for great conversation. There is a restroom which is provided and I have used it multiple times. The store is clean and well taken care of. Worst service ever at a subway. We arrived at 8:35 on a Friday night. The website AND their front door both say they close at 9:30. The employee said they were closing at 9 when we said we were dining in. The Male employee did not greet us, say ANYTHING AT ALL to us, but instead stood their and looked at us the entire time. He didn't even ask what we wanted to order, he put his gloves on and stood there looking at us with an angry look waiting for us to speak. If this was a restaurant where you tip the employees, I would have literally not left a single dime. The two employees in there at the time had the attitude that they would rather be dead than working there. They acted like we were the biggest nuisance coming in wanting to buy food.
