Swagat Indian Market — Local services in Evansville

Today was my first time shopping at Swagat Indian Market and I most definitely will be back!

I was welcomed when I entered and when my confusion was obvious while shopping I was asked by store workers if I needed help. I was relieved to see that they were happy to help me find what I needed.

This store was so clean and organized!!!! Locally this is the most organized food market. Everything was priced and marked and the selection was vast.

I will most certainly be back-and if needed I won’t be afraid to ask for help or...

One of the only Indian Grocery store in Evansville finally!!! It's just spacious and has everything you need from frozen food to fresh vegetables and meethai to mukhwas. They have atta, rice and everything you need in one place. Really close to Newburgh as well as Evansville East. It's really easy to miss this place but it's right next to "At Home" on the east side, N Green River Rd. Newly opened a month ago or so and the best thing about this is you know the price of buying...

This place is a gem! We went in for the first time yesterday just to look around and returned today to purchase more items. They have an extensive freezer section, produce, snacks, an entire aisle of every spice you would need. I have a wheat sensitivity so I was thrilled to see such a variety of non-wheat flours. I bought a bag of besan and will use it to make roti. Everything is so reasonably priced too! We will be back many, many times. I hope this place stays...
