Parlor Doughnuts — Restaurant in Evansville

Recently ordered delivery from Parlor's website. For reference Parlor contracts third party delivery service uber eats to deliver the order. When the order came, not only were there items missing the doughnuts were scrambled around the box and coffees were spilled and cold. The order came 2 hrs. after it was placed. When contacting the manager to deal with the issue I was told that Parlor is not held accountable for Uber Eats mistake. Contacted Uber Eats and they said the restaurant is responsible. When discussing this with the manager of Parlor she explained that she was caught in the middle just as I was. However, I'm the only one who wasted money then to end up with time and money lost dealing with an issue that should have never happened. Would not recommend ordering from this platform as the customer service is non-existent for issues. So basically, uber and Parlor just took my money with missing items and damaged goods not delivered. Very disappointed in the customer service as will not be ordering from here again.

Filing a fraudulent claim on credit card as goods were not delivered. When I explained that that was my next step...the manager said "Well you got most of your order". Again, It's my money that was lost. What makes this situation worse is that this was a larger order for family that was in town. So not only did a 0900 order come close to 1100, more money was spent finding alternative treats and time lost dealing with an issue that shouldn't have been. Time lost with family that I can't get back dealing with an issue that could have been solved easily.

I don't usually leave reviews like this, I have taken most of the day to decide to do this because most people are nasty when leaving reviews or dealing with issues like this. I do feel as if I have been very clear and calm trying to resolve this issue. Yet...

My daughter went through their drive a couple of days ago and ordered a cold brew with milk and vanilla. When she pulled up to the window, the girl responded at drink hand off..."just so you know, depending on who's working, not everyone will do this to the cold brew...so don't expect it every time." Obviously it embarrassed her...so she took the drink and pulled away. It's just a good thing I wasn't there. I've since told her, to absolutely refuse to accept the order and require her money back. This is absolutely not the way to earn business and retain your customers. I'm in the customer service industry...and nothing irritates me more than an employee being disrespectful to a paying customer willing to pay for a product you serve. Personally, I don't care how you typically serve it....If a PAYING customer wants to add something to their drink...and you charge the premium your charging for it...you need to follow through with the request. Or at least be nice and kind about it...and remember your not the only coffee and donut shop in town. I've personally been in their on a couple of occasions and you just don't get that "We're glad your here" feeling from the people behind...

My neighbors wife was in Evansville Indiana yesterday. She came home today. So my neighbor calls me he says meet me outside by the fence. I've got something for yah. So I said ok. I go out side he hands me this paper bag. And he says don't open it yet do it inside. I said ok. Well I go in and open the bag. And I see two Doughnuts that look delicious. Now my neighbor Dave knows I have a big sweet tooth. I would rather have a Doughnut then a thick Ribeye steak any day. But back to this Doughnut. I pulled this beautiful round thick Doughnut out of the sack and sink my teeth into it. Let me tell you..thats the best Doughnut I've ever eaten. I called My neighbor he tells me the story. All about them being not just a Doughnut but a corrsont there like two all in one. But let me tell you ill definitely make a trip to Evansville for these delicious treats. Omg there the best thing ever. Thank you neighbor. And thank you Doughnet shop for making these amazing things. We have a Doughnut shop here in linton that is very nice and delicious as well. But I've got to say yours blows these out of the water. Yum yum. I...
