Donut Bank — Restaurant in Evansville

First experience with a Donut bank and it was a good one. The service was excellent! The whole crew was super friendly and helpful and smiling faces. Wide offering of excellent house made donuts. No premade stuff! These delights were fresh! All the classic offerings. My one and only complaint, and it's a personal preference I admit, is that they glaze the donuts before icing them. In my opinion adding glaze to and iced donut is too much sugar and overwhelms the dough. This dough is good. Definitely good enough to stand on its own. If they would allow for a special order and I could get them to make me some without the extra glaze I will update this review but for now they lose 1 star for that one drawback to an otherwise excellent...

From Evansville but no longer live there. Donut Bank is a must everytime we come into town to visit family. I've lived a lot of places and I'm not sure if it's because I grew up eating Donut Bank or if they are just that good but definitely haven't found a better place for donuts! I love their tiger tails, cheese danishes, and donut holes. A lot of donut places use too much dough and fry their donuts for too long, but not at Donut Bank! Would be awesome if they could add some healthy oatmeal or a breakfast sandwich to their menu so the guilty conscience of only consuming donuts for breakfast could be put to ease but I understand if you have a good thing going to not want to change it. I was really excited when another Donut Bank opened close to my house. Unfortunately, the experience has been disappointing. I’ve gotten used to the occasional mistake at other locations, but this one consistently messes up my order — almost every time. It’s frustrating when something as simple as coffee is rarely made right, and the staff often seem confused or disorganized. It’s super inconvenient, especially when you’re in a hurry.
