HORRIBLE! but that doesn't eve began to describe my experience here. First I dropped my phone off on a firday, got it back the next day; broken. They we're supposed to be replacing the screen and LCD, but when i got it back half the screen didnt work, the home keys didnt work and the screen wasn't all the way attached. So the following monday i brought it back in and was told theyd fix it. After waiting around for all week making several phone calls and always hearing "we'll let you know" i went back in for them to tell me they hadn't had time to look at it and that they we're having problems fixing it. I left it one more day and went back in and demanded it back. They clearly were not going to fix the phone and I was tried of theyre crap. After going home, I discovered the phone was WORSE than it was the second time i dropped it off. None of the key homes worked, at all and more of the screen didn't work. the left side and the middle. And while getting my pictures off the phone, i discovered they have taken 10 pictures on my home (the camera had nothing to do with the problem). When i called they said it was normal because they had to make sure the phone was in working order, to which i replied "If that's so why did I the phone back broken?" to which they couldn't come up with an answer. I got my sons phone fixed oct 15 and today his screen popped out, I called and they said as long as there are no scratches on the screen it would be under warranty. I come in and they took the phone to the back for about 5 minutes and then come back to the front and tell me his frame is “bent” and it caused it to pop out! The screen is in perfect condition! If his frame is was bent how is his screen just perfect?? Since the screen is pooped out did he take it to the back and bend it? Seems like that’s how it could be successfully bent without the screen cracked! So now they are saying it’s not under warranty, even though there isn’t even a tiny scratch! Will never recommend this place or come back! And the only reason they have so many descent reviews is because they offer a $10 discount for a good review, they aren’t even genuine reviews!! Very, very rude and combative. USE PHONE SMART REPAIR ON VIRGINIA ST! I needed a simple phone to phone transfer due to a dead screen on my wife’s old phone. They would have to use a screen of theirs to initiate transfer from the old phone. $80 charge. I assumed there would be a charge, no problem. They then demanded I got extra cash, $115 cash only, for ‘collateral’ for the screen they’d have to use while the transfer was being done as they were worried I was going to “run out of the store with their screen”. I was leaving both phones in their possession for the transfer to happen, brand iPhone 16 & a used iPhone 13, and picking them back up when done. They said “No, we need the collateral, even if you’re not here during the process…..”. What happens if my cash was kept and the charge for the actual transfer?
