Don't let Vee help you! Definitely not how I was wanting to start my Sunday morning.
What started off rather well ended up being the WORST experience I've ever had at a dispensary. Let me start by saying Dockside and Hashtag are the two medical dispensaries I always recommend and feel are best. That said I won't be suggesting the Everett location of Hashtag to anyone. The first budtender was super patient and helpful and they made sure to help me find exactly what I needed. I got my medical card recently and they helped me find all DOH products! Sadly I forgot their name, but they were really nice and helpful.
Afterwards, I realized there had been an error in the system and I was overcharged for a product as the SKU had not yet been updated as DOH certified. A rather harmless mistake that is easy enough to remedy. However, this is where things take a turn for the worst.
The second budtender, their name was Vee I believe, was very rude and condescending when attempting to help me. They proceeded to try and make me feel like an idiot and convince me I had bought something I hadn't and that was why the price was different. We went back and forth for a good few minutes before they finally double checked their inventory and realized their mistake.
While they ultimately fixed the mistake and apologized for the inconvenience, the interaction had been completely soured. I have roughly 4 years of industry experience as well as pretty thick skin and I still barely convinced them without breaking down into tears. Customers/guests should not be made to feel stupid especially when they are a medical patient like myself. Any other patient would have likely been convinced they were wrong, overcharged, and ultimately not given their legal discount as a medical patient.
I understand the industry is constantly evolving and changing, but budtenders should be fully prepped and aware of product information if they are going to be helping patients in a medical capacity. I hope management can raise the bar for how guests especially medical patients are treated at...
Read moreI loved this place! I'm a sensory human and often find shops visually and audibly overwhelming. This place was perfect! It looks clean and fresh while avoiding that apple store look AND the basement look 😂 I did crave a "dark mode" BUT the lighting really made reading the DETAILED labels much easier. Music was a great volume. Didn't distract but filled the quiet moments just right. The humans were the best part! Great humor, experience, knowledgeable enough to convince me and even worked with my budget and needs. Didn't mind me leaving my scooter parked by the exit. 🥰 I'm couch locked, writing this review, and can't remember names so it's...
