This is worth the five star rating. Firstly I want to say that I'm impressed with the overall cleanliness, atmosphere, friendliness/attentiveness of the wait staff as well as the flavors and textures of the items I had so far. In regards to the cleanliness and staff friendliness/attentiveness I will say that I visited at 4:00 PM on a Monday so the restaurant was near empty and had only been open for about an hour but not looked or sounded out of place. I'm also unsure if how early in the restaurants day it was has had an effect on the quality of the food but the food was fantastic.

The Catfish Basket was a wonderful experience as the portion I had had nongreasy, plesently moist catfish with a crispy cornmeal coating that lets you experience the subtle flavor of the catfish and yet holds up to a squeeze of lemon and drips of Tabasco sauce. The basket comes with fries and an additional side item. The fries seemed to be double fried leaving them crunchy and something that would make for a good munching item while watching a game on any of the at least four screens they have on. My additional side was red beans and rice which while the rice was basic white rice the red beans tasted as though they'd been slow cooked and were easy to mash up should you have a picky eater that likes refried beans.

Another menu item that I'll be ordering again(especially for a dreary PNW day) is the Jambalaya. Should one want a hardy soup that had a mouthwatering aroma with a slowly building heat that's soothed by the shrimp, sausage and other chunky ingredients. The Jambalaya is served with a soft section of slice butter baguette that I honestly am unsure if it was made in house or if they( the restaurant) sources from a local bakery.

The last two items that I'll recommend as of this review are the Hush Puppies and the Cajun Fried Pickles. The Hush Puppies are delicious; while denser in weight for their melon ball size, they are moist and soft without being gummy as well as have a slight green onion taste that compliments with the cornmeal instead of overpowering it making it another item that a picky eater may like. Lastly the Cajun Fried Pickles were another item that I would say are a good for having while watching a game or sharing with friends or family as they seemed to be Dill pickle rounds that were patted dry before being tossed in a lightly seasoned cornmeal mixture then fried to a golden crispness yet retained the structural integrity and flavor of the Dill pickle to the point that I thought the side sauce that came with was tartar sauce not ranch as discovered while eating the fries.

Overall I would say that given cleanliness, atmosphere, friendliness/attentiveness of the wait staff as well as the unlimited soda( PepsiCo), decently priced mocktails, cocktails and beers, the prices of the appetizers and meals in addition to the flavors/textures of said food items; this restaurant is a good casual date night location or a I really really don't feel like cooking let's go out type of sit-down restaurant with the average price per adult being $15-$25 excluding any tip for...

I am updating my review to 2/5.

I have been back here 3x. Nothing is consistent. I order the same boil each time (different seafood), and it hasn't been the same flavor/heat once. Same with the oyster appetizer. And as of 3/2, you only get 3 little pieces of bread with your oyster appetizer vs a full loaf like previous visits. They were pretty busy when we went in yesterday, but the service wasn't good. My boyfriends chicken tenders arrived WAAAAY before my boil. My boil took a very long time to arrive.Tia didn't really come check on our table, but other tables were getting checked on often.

This time I ordered 1# shrimp, 1 cluster of snow crab, and 1# of head off shrimp. During previous visits, the price you were paying was listed at the table - so those were the prices I was going off of. Apparently that is not the case anymore, and you go off the board in the back (even though the old prices are still at the tables). My bill ended up being $150. Previous times it was around $80. This is a huge difference.

The crab also had a weird texture and funky taste. I ended up staying away from it.

I won't be returning after this, and I have let people know that the consistency is heavily lacking. What a shame.

Just checked this place out tonight. 5/5! Service was above and beyond from Cody.

I got the build your own boil with shrimp, clams, and sausage. It doesn't come with potatoes/corn/sausage/etc, you have to pay extra. I'm not sure if it's like that everywhere, so heads up.

I got the grilled oyster appetizer. Delish! Comes with seasoned bread as well.

I got a side of potato salad, good but definitely store bought. I would spend the extra $ elsewhere on the menu next time.

There is a cocktail menu and beer available. Didn't try any alcoholic beverage this time.

The seafood is market price, which they have listed so you don't get a price shock at the end. I appreciated this.

There's different heat level options which I also appreciated. I love spicy food. I got a #3 level spicy and it has some 🔥.

Cornbread is homemade per my boyfriend who ordered that. He also got the chicken strips and fries. Said they were good and he'd return. Said the BBQ sauce was also really good. He's super picky, so this says a lot.

The tab was $80 between two of us. That's very good for seafood.

I am very impressed with this restaurant and I would return. I've already spread the...

My husband and I ordered a late dinner on this past Saturday, an order of Lobster Rolls and a Catfish dinner with an extra piece of catfish. Well my husband went pick up the order and when we got ready to serve up the food I opened the box and the first thing I saw was a hair on my lobster roll!! Anyone that has had this happen already know that this messes up the whole meal because what else is wrong and is there hair anywhere else. I was totally disgusted and was done because now I don’t want any of this food. It was Saturday so I call the restaurant at about 1040ish. Well they didn’t answer. I suppose it was because they were closing at 11. I called about 5 times because at this point I just want my money back and I would’ve brought them the food back because my appetite is ruined. As you will be able to see on my picture I tried calling to no avail. So on Sunday I called and spoke to the manager, Sarah, and explained the situation and that I would like my money back. I still had the food and was willing to bring it because I kept it and we weren’t going to eat it after finding this hair. She said she believed me, but asked what color was the hair and told me it was only men working and she was curious. Later I found out from my husband that wasn’t true because he said there were 2 women there, 1 being Sarah, she took the order and my husband said there was another woman there that got him tarter sauce. Sarah offered to make me more food which I informed her I don’t want more food as I still had all this food I didn’t eat because my appetite was ruined last night. She said she couldn’t give me money back because it was the next day, but I explained to her that wasn’t fair to me because I called the same day and they chose not to answer the phone and that wasn’t my fault. She offered a gift card and then informed me that she would contact the card company and refund the money and get back to me before she left on Sunday. She didn’t call me back, but did text, see pictures, I was ok and open to hearing what she would propose even though I don’t think I should have to do that being that I’m the one that lost out. I texted to follow up on today, Tuesday, which I shouldn’t have to because I’m the customer, but I was giving them a chance to make it right. Anyways, I’m still waiting on my money back...

Ok, so this is what I can say about this place? it’s a little overwhelming at first but it’s not a bad thing, and the prices are not low for any of the boil. My wife’s boil was $30, and she wishes it would’ve came with corn and potatoes which it did not. Mine was $50. we both got snow crab and shrimp and mine came with corn and a potato and a lobster tail. I went with a 3 for the spice and the “trifecta” for seasoning, It was pretty dang good. the other side of the menu has sandwiches and fried stuff and chowders and all sorts of different southern type food. I think I’ll be coming back to try some of that stuff and the prices on that were much more friendly to your pocketbook. The staff was very helpful and attentive. All in all I’d say we all left satisfied and will return. Oh I can’t forget, we had our one year old and 11 year old with us. When the meal was about done either the owner or a very least a manager asked the kids if they wanted to see a lobster. My son was pretty stoked about this said yeah and started to get up. The lady said oh no, go ahead and sit down. I’ll bring him over to you. She went to their aquarium and grabbed a live lobster and brought it over for my kids to see in touch. It was pretty cool they were very excited about this, and made for an even better experience than we were already having.
